Rising Scottish star, Meikle shows why he is a name to be remembered on lively track ‘Hold Me Down’, via Generation Smash!

‘Hold Me Down’ sounds like an instant hit thanks to tantalising vocals and an uprising in Progressive House production, as synthlines flow upstream before morphing into a crystalline state, the big-room leaning melody launches the track into the stratosphere that is made for the mainstage! “Hold Me Down/ Never Let Me Go” the hyper-manipulated topline urges, inviting the listener in prior to erupting amongst the mayhem of the tempo once more! Meikle shows talent far beyond his age and experience with this track sounding like the work of a producer with decades of practice. 

Up and coming Progressive House producer Meikle has worked hard over the past few years, steadily building up a portfolio of impressive collaborations released via acclaimed labels. In 2017, whilst still only a teenager, Meikle released his first official remix, a reworking of Burak Yeter’s ‘Echo’. Via Spinnin’ Records. The achievement of releasing music on such a renowned label at such a young age has only spurred this young producer on to bigger and better things. 

Meikle has followed up his early success with a string of impressive releases on Spinnin’, Revealed and now Generation Smash. His collaborations with a wealth of accomplished producers, including Sandro Silva, Max Adrian and Manse have only helped to develop his skills set, gaining him the backing of various proficient names, such as Afrojack, W&W and David Guetta. 

‘Hold Me Down’ only confirms why Meikle is considered one of the fastest rising producers, not only in Scotland, but in the global electronic scene. His collaborations and tracks continue to impress and will surely electrify crowds at events around the world in the years to come.

Latin American producer duo New Blood is a name on the rise, steadily climbing onto the scene thanks to collaborations with names such as Subliminals, they now join up with fellow Peruvian Uriel Zylan and vocalist Robbie Rosen to bring ‘Bad Blood’ to the masses via Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike’s Generation Smash!
