While this program ended in July 2021 after 15 years, I very much enjoyed hosting/producing 'Acoustic Frontiers' a 90 minute program airing electroacoustic and computer processed music by composers from around the world on CKCU fm - ckcufm.com - in Ottawa Ontario Canada.  

Additionally, as you will hear from the tunes that I have posted here, I play sax, mostly jazz, and have done some recordings of original tunes.  The most recent posts are from my current project, 45north band, a 5 piece band playing a Canadian jazz repertoire.  

Mostly these recordings are basement projects.

I also have been on bari sax in a nonet, Alternate Takes.  We recorded our 2nd CD 'Urban Flower' a while back that was released in 2018 with our concert at Merrickville's Jazz Fest.  I've posted a short clip of the first tune from that CD, 'Little Sunflower'

He is an italian electroacoustic and experimental music composer, musician and visual artist. 
He has studied photography with Mimmo Jodice and visual art with Carlo Alfano, Armando De Stefano and Rosa Panaro. 
He is a self taught musician/composer and teaches "electronic music" at Conservatory of Music "San Pietro a Majella", Naples, Italy.
His compositional aesthetics are derived from acousmatic issues, but in addition to acousmatic composition he composes for instruments and live electronics, sound installation, multi-media works, audiovisual art and computer music improvisation.
He is a founding member of: IATO (musicians collective), IXEM (Italian eXperimental Electronic Music), BOWINDO (experimental italian label), OAS (electronic musicians and composer collective).
He currently lives in Naples, Italy.

Ensemble Collettivo Crisis borns in the 2012 as an answer to the economical and cultural crisis. We research in the fields of the improvvisation and new/contemporary classical music.

Daniel Cabanzo (Colombie, né en 1979) est un artiste pluridisciplinaire qui s’intéresse aux différentes formes d’expression d’art, il étudie la musique à l'Université du Valle à Cali - Colombie, puis la composition en France depuis 2006. Il est titulaire d’un master de Musique appliquée aux arts visuels à l'Université de Lyon 2 et d’un master d’Acousmatique et arts sonores à l'université de Marne-la-Vallé et le GRM (Groupe de recherches musicales- INA). En 2013, Il a étudie à la Haute École Musique de Genève en Suisse avec Michael Jarrell, Luis Naon et Eric Daubresse professeurs qui l’ont influencé vers les nouvelles technologies musicales. Il est lauréat du prix de composition de Cergy-Pontoise et du prix Roux et Tronchet de l’Académie des Beaux- Arts en France, aussi lauréat d’une bourse de la SACEM pour étudier dans le Cursus I à l’IRCAM en 2014. Il participe à l’académie Manifeste organisé par l’IRCAM dans le cadre de l’atelier In Vivo Electro 2015, il a collaboré avec Le Fresnoy - Studio National des arts contemporaines pour l’édition de Panorama 2016 et réalise le visuel en temps réel de l’évènement « Piano Remix » en collaboration avec le Conservatoire de région Lille et le design sonore de l'oeuvre Artefact 01 de Mathilde Lavenne. Lauréat du prix Ibermusicas 2018 avec l’institution DME à Portugal. Actuellement il réalise son PhD en musicologie à l’Université Paris-Sorbonne et l’IRCAM (directeur de recherche Mikhail Malt). Il a été joué par plusieurs ensembles comme le Court-Circuit, Ensemble du Bout du Monde, Gardiens de la paix, Awkas, Barcelona Modern Project entre autres.

Stepha Schweiger's works have been performed at major festivals and stages such as: Heroines of Sound Festival / Radialsystem Berlin, musikprotokoll / Festival Steirischer Herbst Graz, Staatsoper Berlin / Atonale, Festival neue Musik / Klanghaus Ulm among others. She appeared on radios stations such as Deutschlandfunk Kultur, RBB, Radio1 (Elektrobeats, Freistil by Holger Lukas, Lokalmatador), Bayern2 (Zündfunk, BR24), SWR2 and many others.
