Sylvain Peltier aka Zadig has been part of the rave scene since the '90s and has since 2010 had releases on many famous labels such as Tresor, Deeply Rooted, Chronicle, Syncrophone to name few. Since then he has created his own record label Construct Re-Form, which first was meant as a platform for his own publications, but which now also releases artists such as Antigone, Voiski and Birth of Frequency. Also an amazing DJ, he’s clearly one the best French artist so far. Enjoy!

We're very happy to welcome our brothers AnD for our seventh TNDB-podcast. AnD really don't need any introduction. After 15 years, Andrew & Dimitri are deeply rooted in the scene. One of the biggest technoacts alive, label owners of @innersurfacemusic and their own imprint, releases on various big labels like Electric Deluxe, it's impossible to overlook AnD. 

AnD started their longstanding career being influenced by the more harder techno, industrial and uncompromising. The years after they broadened their musical spectrum. Their hard, fast and industrial EP's like AnD002, made room for their album "Cosmic Microwave Background" (2014) on Speedy J's label Electric Deluxe. With this album AnD made it known that other sounds like drum & bass, drone and ambient aren't unfamiliar territories.

Their last album "Social Decay" (2017), also on Electric Deluxe, showed even more that the guys are willing to overcome boundaries in electronic music. They are able to produce tracks that are not solely 4x4 bangers, but also tracks that captivate and force you to broaden your taste in electronic music. Their interests extend even further than techno, as the pair produce art, scores and more.

One of the biggest techno acts with two of the biggest hearts we know, we are very humbled to welcome our friends AnD for our seventh podcast.

TNDB-podcast no. 07: AnD

This mix was recorded live from Reaktor's Katharsis event in 2017.  For those that don't know, Katharsis happens once a year and is dedicated to the faster, harder and more industrial side of techno.  This was my entire 3 hour set from that night.

Over the last few years we have built a steady relationship doing events together and sharing our passion for this music.  We are teaming up once again for ADE 2018 and releasing this mix as a thank you to all our followers and supporters.

During his time as a DJ and Producer, JANEIN's musical career has been akin to the flight of a spaceship. While not without it’s obstacles, the young german artist has been running on full gear unintimidated and has henceforth left big marks on the techno scene like BASSIANI, Distillery, Institut Fuer Zukunft, Blitz Club Munich, ://about blank, TRESOR and Säule at Berghain to name a few.
Be it by running the Vinyl only SEELEN. imprint, dismantling one of the stops on his quickly growing tour-schedule or delivering relentless, trance-tinged techno cuts with a clear nod to pulpy 80’s science fiction. His selection in one of his DJ-sets also shows a particular sensibility to what makes Rave culture, with a unique take on techno spanning modern chugger’s to old school EBM anthems.

After getting off to a strong start last year following the creation of Voight-Kampff, Whitley and his collective have been causing a ruckus around Scotland and have found themselves heavily involved with Jaded, most recently throwing their first 2 room take over. Whitley himself takes most of his inspiration from the old school, percussive drum driven techno sound coming from labels like Downwards and Tresor - as well as holding and taking a huge amount of interest in more recent Scandinavian techno and electronic music as a whole, namely from the Copenhagen techno scene.

Our third Podcast is composed by Nur Jaber, originally coming from the beautiful yet troubled homeland of Beirut, Lebanon. The cultural experiences have without a doubt inspired and enriched her music and she is in a continuous quest of always having deeper messages and meanings in her magical trips in waveform. She gained a plethora of valuable experiences at Boston’s Berklee College of Music over the summers, while growing up playing the drums and bass guitar. 
When behind the decks and creating electronic music, she captures her audience with emotional and energetic productions as well as musically varied, journey-like DJ sets that hold no genre limitations, which are making the crowd equally dream and sweat.
The last few years have certainly been busy for this Berlin resident.
She continues to grow as a DJ and artist, playing some shows with live vocals over her DJ sets wold wide in venues like Berghain and De School.

Podcast 004 comes straight from techno veteran DJ Pete. If you want to trace the beginnings of DJ Pete's status in Techno culture, you have to go back a very long way. He emerged as a DJ in the pioneering days of the Berlin scene during the late 80s. He's known for combining highly individual yet refined mixing skills with both his vast encyclopedic techno knowledge and an unquenchable thirst for new sounds that carry the potential to push all boundaries.
