Electronic Indie-Pop out of San Francisco, California. 

New Diplomat is an American Indie - Electronic Pop trio. Despite their inception in San Francisco, California in 2012 the boys are rather international (Italy, Uruguay and USA). Their worldly influences can be heard from the retro analog synthesizers, to the new wavy guitars, through the uptempo dance beats down to the bluesy bass riffs into "an infectious celebration of indie-pop and electronic music" (The SF Chronicle)

The band was formed from the ashes of different San Francisco Bay Area bands. After a few tribulations, including one of the lengthiest search for the right singer in history, the current line up consist of: Horacio O'Brien-Ferres (vocals and bass guitar) Paolo Von Giordano (Guitar, Synths), Mikey Rhi Rhinehart (Drums, Synths). They manage a sound that is both fresh and familiar, evocative of Bob Moses, Gorillaz, Jagwar Ma, Depeche Mode, Rufus Du Sol.

They have been described by Live 105, the largest Alternative Rock radio station in Northern California and a CBS network station as one of the Top 10 Bay Area Bands. They were the only currently unsigned band making it to the top of the list.

Currently New Diplomat is "Bi-Stately" as O'Brien- Ferres resides in. Minneapolis where the band records and writes most of their music while still mainting their Bay Area roots.

StarLab is a project initialised by Bharat Bindal from Goa, India.

Training in Indian Classical Music laid the musical foundations for Bharat at a very early age, earning him a Music Diploma at the age of 10. Over the years, as a self taught Bass & Guitar player he gathered a wealth of experience touring and recording with his band for over a decade until he encountered the hypnotic sound of Psychedelic Trance Music at a beach party in Goa, India. This strongly affected his musical persona after which he began to teach himself synthesis & music production and project StarLab was born.

In 2011 he went to San Francisco USA to study music professionally and quickly became a popular DJ in the West Coast scene, gaining a lot of experience playing at many local parties & festivals while learning music production. 

On returning to India in 2013 he joined ranks with India’s premier record label Digital Om Productions as Live Act and since then he has gone on to make countless releases with the most well known record labels and perform in top festivals and venues all around the world in USA, Mexico, Brazil, Australia, Japan, Thailand, Nepal and all across Europe. These include Main Stage performances at iconic festivals such as Boom – Portugal, OZORA - Hungary, Universo Paralello - Brazil, Antaris Project - Germany, Own Spirit – Spain, Shankra Festival- Switzerland, Exit Festival - Serbia, Electric Daisy Carnival – India, Sunburn Festival – Goa, Universal Religion – Nepal, Experience – Thailand, How Weird Street Fair – San Francisco, Mikology – Mexico.

StarLab has collaborated with and remixed many of the world’s top artists and released music on renowned labels such as Digital Om, Iboga, IONO, Techsafari, TesseracTstudio, Sacred Technology, Dacru, Shamanic Tales, Future Music and many more. He notably appears on VA Book of Changes by ASTRIX and on Alpha Portal VA Dimensions 005, VA Psynation by Ace Ventura & Liquid Soul amongst many others.
