Oxfordshire based producer Soultec drops his debut release on Smooth N Groove Records with his 'A Kind of Blue' EP. No stranger to this niche scene, his jazz and soulful infused style, has taken years of moulding since starting out way back in 2001. Heavily influenced by Jazz legends Miles Davis, Dizzy Gillespie, John Coltrane and the soulful vocals of Marvin Gaye, he has established his sound to be undoubtably one of the scenes best talents.

With a plethora of material on labels such as Liquid Drops, Fokuz, Influenza, Stepping Forward, Soul Deep, and Nookie's Phuzion to name a few. However, over recent years he has predominately released his productions via the well respected Sheer Velocity Recordings which he manages alongside Mark Halflite & Danny fridd. The label has been operational since 2012 and has maintained a steady release schedule of artists from the likes of Madcap, Velocity, Phase 2, Furney, Payback and A.K.A.

'A Kind of Blue' EP is Soultec's latest work to date and as expected it doesn't disappoint. The EP is packed with plenty of Jazzy and soulful samples, deep bass vibes, instrumentals and tasteful vocals. Available across all online stores from November 20th.
