reflecting on a sunny afternoon

Experimentation and trial and error in Mexico and Thailand has lead me to a new creative project using Ableton to create loops, landscapes and moods, while adding modular synthesis, studio recordings and effects.

This all came together to be my first ‘DJ/live/hybrid’ piece.
This was a recording from an interview and mix I did for Flux Fm with Pawas earlier this year. Thanks for the invite guys!

Nach einem schönen Gemeinschaftsausflug in das Schlafzimmer, stehen wir nun vor der Tür der Rumpelkammer. 
Die Türen öffnen sich und recht schnell bemerken wir ein ungewöhnliches Gefühl aus verwirrtem Interesse und bunten Grübeln über das Schauspiel, welches wir hier erblicken. 

Wie hängen all diese Dinge miteinander zusammen? Muss man da nicht mal etwas Ordnung hinein bringen ? Eine Schatzkiste mit Kabeln, ein Liegestuhl und ein altes Film-Vorführgerät ??? 
Die erste leichte Verwirrung, fühlt sich auf einmal recht wohl in diesem Unwissen und beschließt zu wachsen. 

Möglicherweise kann dieses Durcheinander sogar einen recht inspirierenden Effekt auf uns haben... Habt ihr schon mal einen Raum voll gestellt mit lauter Dingen die überhaupt kein Sinn machen ?...und euch dann mitten in diesen Raum gestellt, um das alles auf euch wirken zu lassen ? 

Wir auch nicht. Aber einen Versuch ist es wert. Im Ungeplanten entstehen oft brillante Ideen. Sagt man. 

Wir wollen uns bei @mattmosphere sehr herzlich, für sein musikalisches Portrait seiner Rumpelkammer bedanken. 
Eine Sammlung aus charmant Sonderbarem. Die Ordnung der Unordnung hätte niemand schöner darstellen können. 
Lasst euch rein willkürlich verzaubern. Jaquintos Reisen führen euch ins Ungewisse. Und wenn ihr wollt, lasst euch gerne auch noch dazu inspirieren, ein Leierkasten-Orchester zu gründen. Davon gibt es viel zu wenige in dieser Welt. 

Wir sind schon gespannt auf das nächste Zimmer...
