Iptamenos Discos announces Houdini, the new EP by label founders Local Suicide. The record features three of their darkest and most powerful originals to date, alongside striking reworks from French electroclash pioneer David Carretta and rising Greek EBM force Alpha Sect. 
The Houdini EP took shape in Local Suicide’s Berlin studio during countless late-night sessions with Skelesys, the same creative period that gave rise to their joint hit Moustache, the Surface Of The Sun EP and Faster Faster on Curses’ Next Wave Acid Punx compilation. The result is their darkest material yet, pushing their technodisco sound into heavier territory with hypnotic basslines, industrial textures and analog vintage synths, making it one of the boldest records in the Iptamenos Discos catalogue to date. 
Submission, a collaboration with long-term collaborator Skelesys, matches its intensity with a brooding low end and distorted, heavily processed vocals. The chant “Resistance, no submission” runs through the track like a declaration of defiance, turning tension into power. 
Strasbourg-based Alpha Sect, the project of Greek artist George McCall, takes Submission into uncompromising dimensions. Rooted in electro and body music with punk influences, his remix starts as a heavy EBM stomper before evolving into a club-ready track that balances intensity with release.

Local Suicide’s Houdini EP will be released on Iptamenos Discos as a limited 12” vinyl and digitally on the November 21st, 2025 with three original tracks and two remixes.

Machine Cult — the Amsterdam-based electronic platform run by Déandrah and Garçon Taupe — returns with the Edition Four release party at OT301 on 7 November.

The new V.A. compilation features tracks from Garçon Taupe, Bertram, 2:29, Beau Wanzer, Déandrah, and Masha Wordpress. At the launch, all contributing artists will play DJ sets, with Déandrah providing live visuals throughout the night.

Expect an evening of potent electronics and immersive visuals, celebrating the forefront of the underground.

Rolando Porro, based in Zurich, Switzerland, began his journey in the 90s, spinning vinyls at local venues. His sound is deeply rooted in the New Wave, EBM, and Industrial music of the 80s, alongside the vibrant Techno of the 90s.
Today, he's known for his dynamic sets filled with modern Cold Wave, Dark Electro, and Dark Disco tracks. Rolando draws inspiration from festivals and concerts all over Europe, all while being an active part of Zurich's thriving Black Scene.

He was always drawn to the electronic influences within goth music and to the traditional song structures found in electronic music. In his sets, he blends both elements—often ones that seem incompatible at first—but it’s precisely in those transitions where the most exciting combinations emerge. As the night unfolds on the dance floor, dark, deep emotions and energy-driven beats become the perfect companions—this is the essence he strives to capture in his mixes.

And of course, constantly discovering fresh tracks from talented artists and avoiding the trap of relying on the same old songs keeps both dancing and mixing thrilling.

From Hell to Disco - #043 - Rolando Porro

Gary Agletiner aka Agle is a french DJ & producer (Barcelona based) inspired by 80's club sound like Disco and New Wave, mixed up with mysterious drum machines, garnished with dusty analogue synths, he opens up a secret passageway into a dark dimension where sparkling disco glimmer lights up new fascinating dancefloors.

Agle is the architect of the Label Rewind It @rewinditmusic with tracks and remixes on Ritmo Fatale, Ombra International, Espacio Cielo, Heimlich Musik, Days of Being Wild, Thisbe, Latido, Emerald & Doreen, Bottom Forty...

His DJ sets are notable for their eclecticism, fusing different styles and eras of electronic music. In each session, one feels as if they are progressively traveling through soundscapes charged with power, emotion, and exploration.

Yes, we have set the bar very high with guest mix 115 by Curses. But guest mix 116 by ÆSTR can definitely keep up. ÆSTR is the main project of French DJ and producer Esther Filankembo. Carving sonic rituals at the crossroads of Industrial Techno, Raw/Hypnotic Techno, Techno Body Music and Rhythmic Noise, ÆSTR weaves relentless sets inspired by dystopia, sci-fi and spirituality. 

She aims to bend minds and bodies to altered states, reaching ego-death. Previously known as the dancer and musician Yshar, she is forging her art since 2010, performing from Paris to NYC. With her new track “Marks” released on Industrial Coast this year, ÆSTR unleashed again her love for creation. As a multiple artist, she continues to explore productions through collabs, remix and hybrid projects. 

ÆSTR is part of the collective Techno Fatale. She has shared the line-up with Ancient Methods, Crystal Geometry, The Hacker, Mind | Matter and performed B2B with Alpha Sect. Fingers crossed she'll be coming to your town as well soon!
