Over the last couple months I've been tediously piecing together every line of this brand new remix of one of my biggest inspirations in electronic music - Opiuo.  I'm very pleased to finally be able to share it with the world.

This mellow yet sophisticated track subtly evolves itself line after line into something new and unexpected with its psychedelic-dub beat that melts together with bits and pieces of several different Opiuo tracks from various albums, including the songs Spanner, Trout Snout, Kaya Project, and Panty Slingshot. Kevin Speltz, more commonly known as Brooklyn-based Glitch Hop and Drumstep producer Oh Tebins, has a new release out November 19th for free download!

Sleep Helmet Remixes will settle any queries you’ve had about the nature of electronic music’s current cookie-cutter state. 
 
His Sleep Helmet Remixes EP opens with its title track “Sleep Helmet,” a rhythmically driven masterpiece that could serve as a soundtrack to any abstract dreamscape, but in turn delivers a dance storyline with the potential of rattling the very foundations of your sombrous psyche. 
 
“Back Fat Donor” takes your hand next with its pneumatically rich beats that carry a somewhat ethereally filtered Dubstep sound, grabbing the genre by its side hinges and stripping it of its ferocity, leaving only a lullaby of needle synths and charming glitches. 
 
The third track, “Cursive On The Phone,” circles in some melodic pop influences with vocoder effects and soft bedroom beat measures that reveal some of Oh Tebins’ old soul, building into a heartfelt deep house breakdown for a subtle dance verve. 
 
Together with the three original tracks come seven remixes by the likes of Duffrey, GrymeTyme, Paradigm Theorem, Blue Sunshine, Tha Fruitbat, Le Moti and Oh Tebins himself. The remixes provide for a grittier edge to each track, extending into sonic realms of jazz, chiptune, minimal house and more. 
 
Each boasts a different color of EDM over the original track but still keeps those fluid vibes and slow-jam drum work arrangements that make the originals so special.

To celebrate the premiere of the newest Intermixture single "A Greater Reality" this monday, I'm finally making available a special unreleased track that's been tucked away for some time!

Originally called Cap Mucher, Map Cruncher marks the first joining forces of dub electronic artist Push/Pull and Intermixture.  After completing it in 2012, we sat on it for the next few years and only played it at select live performances. Two years later I'm excited to make it available and to see the response it gets!

A mind-mingling journey of sounds reminiscent of insatiably groovy trip-hop, twisted glitch-hop, psyfunk, or whatever genre it fits, you decide! Tell us what you think.

Xotica

The middle and climactic point of the album, Liquid Fidelity was the longest track and the most difficult production on the album. Featuring a balance of grungy, punching basslines which flutter alongside rich melodic ambient sounds and harmonies, and end with a very unexpected throw down.  Too much to say - so simply share it on, pass it on!

A long long time ago in some distant amazonian jungle, a tribal group began this rhythm on their hand made instruments of percussion. This beat inspired a personal twist on native sounds mixed with original contemporary electronic energy.

2 older, simple tunes that I finally worked over and mastered. They're simple in terms of composition, but something about them I like/they mean something to me I guess!
