Closed Curve contains meticulously sharpened, broken rhythms merge with glitchy synths, methodically doing hard work in futuristic sound design territory. The range of sounds lends Closed Curve a steely confidence as well as fresh digital energy.
The tracks were written under the strong influence of Hyperboloid label and its artists: Pixelord, BOGUE, Famitsu.

Great sequels take time. Think about Terminator 2, Before Sunset or Return to Oz. They all surpassed the originals – which were great in their own right – but required years of reflection and hard work on the part of the creators. Damscray understands this. His previous EP for Hyperboloid, Make Me Juke, was released ten years ago. Its bursts of energy are still fascinating today but it remains, in some senses, a straightforward footwork record.

Make Dem Rhythm marks the opening of a new chapter for Damscray, and is one of his first releases since 2013. The musician claims that at some point he simply stopped releasing music, but has been working on various projects all this time. It shows: this new album feels like the work of a master who doesn’t want to bind himself to any particular genre. Technically it’s still a footwork record like its predecessor, but you can hear strong influences of jungle, dub, reggae and Warp-like IDM. Imagine Squarepusher doing footwork and you’d be on the right path to understanding Damscray’s new sound. The structures of the tracks are constantly twisting and turning, while lo-fi samples collide with glossy beats. In his own words, “I still think that juke and footwork have the best vibe in electronic music,” and you can certainly feel this vibe throughout Make Dem Rhythm.

Echoes of jungle, trance, breakbeat, ambient, hip-hop, bass and hyper-pop mix here into a whirlwind of feelings and styles. The collection starts with a farewell: our old friend Cadeu says goodbye to the departing year with ciao. 
You can find a lot of familiar names here: Pixelord, Famitsu, Summer of Haze, Koloah and Max Dahlhaus released their records on Hyperboloid this year. Following the challenges of new times, in his new work N95 has rethought the approach and abandoned the usual algorithms of music writing.
Here, accompanied by aggressive sampling, hard percussion breaks through the surreal atmosphere of post-clubbing, causing a feeling of being at the crossroads of times: rave of the past and meta reality; and the guest artists gave each track an individuality, adding something new to the already recorded mixtape.

Releasing his 'Bubblegum' EP on co-founder of Foreign Beggars PAV4N’s label ‘4NCY’ in early 2021, ETRA has seen his releases premiere on DJ Mag and UKBM. Formerly known as Fizika and working with ‘Noxious Records’ ETRA switched from learning to produce Drum & Bass to focus on making music blending all the sounds he is influenced by. ETRA released his first experimental footwork-influenced tracks on Alexander Saylor’s label ‘Nü Kvlture’ in 2021. Following up with a Lofi / Jungle inspired two track EP ‘Digital Dust’ which was heard opening the debut ‘Keep Hush’ event in Sydney, Australia. About Let's Collapse

Let’s Collapse is a collaboration EP between Pixelord and Max Dahlhaus in Moscow and Berlin, respectively. The illusion of the global village, which it seems like yesterday’s, collapsed due to the outbreak of covid-19, but none of this can prevent people from contacting each other. This EP shows how the artists feel in it.

Both artists are good at creating cold music, and the collision of ideas has produced many wonderful changes in the results. The whole EP is like a roaring turbo engine, and the huge sound continuously presses our hearts. There is always some strange but beautiful sound between the heavy drums and the rough background noise, when they appear, it will make the listener's scalp tremble like two sharp pieces of metal rubbed in a flash. All these sounds constitute a sci-fi world, and the rich details bring people into endless spaces of imagination. The world is constantly destroyed and rebuilt in the journey of the seven tracks, and the epic ending leaves all this to the unknown.
