Zilvermeer brings together cratje (half of the brussels label MONTAGE) and Justin (artist based in Berlin) around a sunny diptych in which two tracks shape a retro-futuristic fiction driven by jubilant rhythms and a resolutely danceable energy.
On the one hand, Aftersun reveals a kaleidoscopic jungle with acid-tinged reflections, while Vakantiepark rushes towards a goa trance sound crossed with psychedelic nods. As a bonus, Dj Würm turns Aftersun into an incisive club version with EDM accents.

CÁRPATOS (he/she/they/them) is a Berlin-based Mexican visual artist, producer, and DJ. They are the founding member of the Mexican event series Limbo (Guadalajara) and Aiff (CDMX), as well as the intercontinental collective o.u (MX, GER, CZ). Currently, they host the radio show “Multidimensional Shooter” on Fade Radio (Athens).

CÁRPATOS began producing electronic music in 2020 during the pandemic lockdowns, following an abrupt end to their jazz studies in Hamburg due to an arbitrary deportation. This event drastically altered their musical trajectory. In 2022, they returned to Germany to pursue a career in electronic music and study Digital Media at HfK (Bremen), eventually relocating to Berlin and becoming active in the local scene.

Throughout their career, CÁRPATOS has shared the stage with artists such as James Ferraro, Zoë McPherson, Zuli , Shipsket and Blood of Aza. They have been prolific in the Berlin local venue circuit of the likes of Trauma Bar, Kwia, OHM, Monarch, Sameheads, Panke, Arkadoa, Fitzroy and OBJEKT 4000. participating in events like AN8X, Takseer, charmlink, Widows and Irsh, as well as running the event series/collective SAD PROMPT ENGINEERING.

CÁRPATOS primarily self-releases their music, but recent releases have been featured on FICT, Suckpuck Records, AUX1, NOFUTURE and A. G. Cook’s Bandcamp satire label “Wandcamp” (in collaboration with Meth Math).
