Italian producer and DJ POL100 delivers the fifth installment of Early Reflex’s Eyes Series with Eyes V, a two-track EP that blends spontaneous experimentation with a cinematic sense of space. Rooted in jungle and bass influences, the release moves fluidly between tribal pulse and mechanical tension, creating immersive soundscapes that unfold over broken rhythms and layered textures.
The opening track,“Machine Decay” layers mechanical, metallic textures over ethereal sounds, starting from a breakbeat foundation and gradually evolving into a more intricate sonic landscape.
“TRIBE”, is a tribal journey in a futuristic sense, built on broken rhythms and grooves that nod to UK sounds while maintaining emotional depth.

Conceived as part of an A/V show with visual artist Nicolò Cervello, ‘Kitbashing’ marks ABADIR’s third album for SVBKVLT.

A growing number of people spend an extensive amount of time watching, scrolling, liking, commenting on and sharing content, whilst at the same time feeding a constant stream of personal data to social media platforms. Social media can be fun and informative, or draining and dark. Either way, their algorithms are purposefully designed to lock users in a continuous state of scrolling. The more time spent online, the more desires, interests and emotions are fed into the algorithm for consumerist ends and reality is reduced to a timeline of curated aesthetics.

Using audio snippets from reels, suggested posts, and sponsored ads, sound objects are cut, micro-edited and meshed together into a collage. Tension is built gradually before falling into a release. Rhythms keep expanding and contracting, simulating the pace of random scrolling on mobile devices. ‘Kitbashing’ is an attempt to break the algorithm: subverting the dynamics by feeding on the algorithm instead of only feeding it.

▎Drumcore Vol. 1 marks the return of the producer Alwis. Taking inspiration from iconic video games from the late 1990s - from Wipeout to Jet Set Radio. This EP revives a sense of nostalgia where speed is an aesthetic and original soundtracks are a style in their own right.
Effective fusion of IDM, drum & bass, and breakcore, Alwis plays with the boundaries of percussion within a dense and hyperactive electronic universe. 

▎His productions display a disconcerting mastery of the genre, which presents itself as a brutal encounter of samples, flows, chords, rhythms, and other fluctuations coming from all sides.

▎For its part, k:i:o:s:k offers an unrestrained remix that injects dub resonances into a syncopated and fragmented architecture. The deconstruction adds a depth that is faithful to the frenetic energy that runs through the entire release.

There’s something unpredictable about Pralaya. One moment she’s behind a piano chasing chord progressions that could score a love scene, and the next she’s twisting those same harmonies into syncopated 160 bass chaos. Based in Saint Petersburg, this classically trained musician fell down the rabbit hole of footwork — and instead of keeping it academic, she got her hands dirty, producing, sampling, and even trying out the moves herself (turns out it’s way harder than it looks).

Her EP Are You Ready? marks the first on the digital release series on SDR, and it couldn’t be a better way to start. The project feels like a love letter to rhythm itself — soulful, funky, and unpredictable in all the right ways. Some tracks carry that hip-hop swagger, flashes of attitude that nod to her love for the genre, while others lean into R&B warmth and Chicago grit with Northern cold vibes.

Each track deserves a full listen: there’s no filler here, just groove experiments stitched together by feel and instinct. To close things off, Fourtwenty Sound comes in swinging with a hyper-jungle flip that turns the EP inside out without losing its soul.
