𝕰𝖈𝖍𝖔 𝕮𝖍𝖆𝖒𝖇𝖊𝖗𝖘 evokes a bitter and tormented aftertaste of wandering through a walking fortress, between its restless and detuned walls. Orchestrated by five gloomy and frenetic forces whose echoes turn into twilight tremors and moans. An ashen mist that transmutes its surroundings into a spectacular rhythmic chaos.


𝕰𝖈𝖍𝖔 𝕮𝖍𝖆𝖒𝖇𝖊𝖗𝖘 évoque un arrière-goût amer et tourmenté d'une errance dans une forteresse ambulante, entre ses parois agitées et désaccordées. Orchestré par cinq forces sombres et frénétiques dont les échos se transforment en tremblements et gémissements crépusculaires. Une brume cendreuse qui vient transmuer son environnement en un chaos rythmique spectaculaire.

lloydfears is a Berlin based artist from The North of England. Working in music, performance and spoken word, they are most interested in radical self improvement and carving a path towards shared catharsis. 
He is not one of the good ones.

Drawing from grime, club and electroacoustic. Lloyd marries the organic with the industrial to live out the daily anxieties of isolation under economic oppression, information overload, and the pitfalls of masculinity.

Intimate, alien and claustrophobic. A digital spirit tries to free themselves from flesh that has become a prison. While the disillusioned host desperately tries to retain ownership over their own body.

Trying Times at Sea was made over a couple of winter months, on an offshore wind survey vessel in the North Atlantic. The weather was often harsh, halting all work and leading to long periods of idle waiting. The EP emerged organically from these isolated circumstances, with each track developed entirely from scratch, and evading conventional song structures.

When offshore, you wake up at odd hours floating out of your bed as you crest a wave, or watching machinery freeze in real time in strongly minus temperatures. The sound was directly inspired by my surroundings, and by the juxtaposition of heavy machinery with brutal nature. Recording alternated between a shared bedroom and a helideck lounge, where the ever present sound of the elements would still make its way.
