ABQ’s been brewing something sick for a while now! SlowRolla pops up in the digital scene with his forward thinking take on the 160 styles. It’s quite simple really. He makes banging club tracks with the intent to make you lose your shit at the rave. The SlowRolla sound borrows from footwork, techno, jungle, and breaks but spins it back in a refreshing manner. It’s a pleasure to be hosting his debut ep on JoogMusic.

Hybrid Pulse effortlessly blends Breaks, Techno, Leftfield Bass, Footwork, Dubstep and Drum and Bass into a seamless tapestry of genres, dancing hand in hand. This release offers just a glimpse of the unique ethos that will define Sonora Destroy Records, immersing us in the exploration of a landscape where clubbing converges with experimental sounds, stepping through the front door of the deconstructed club.

The album constructs a global mosaic with contributions from eighteen artists hailing from eleven countries and three continents: Apofenia, Didacta, Dr. Kick, ETRA, Fourtwenty Sound, FrenkyBoy, Japp Beats, Liquid Giraffe, Marka San, Noizy Wilson, Pralaya, Qetsy, Rivs, Slack 1NE, SlowRolla x NovTheKid, Spel, and Wrong Dome.

This V/A anticipates the beginning of a unique experience. It introduces a distinctive, turbo-hybrid-transgressive brand that seeks to take one's bodies and minds on a thrilling ride.

Drawing inspirations from UK Bass, both early 2000s and contemporary dubstep, as well as other cutting edge experimental sonics, Kapha enigmatically yet deftly blends rhythms and vibes in this four-tracker. His minimalistic approach to arrangement allows to concentrate on the deep groove and atmospherics, while leaving plenty of space for the core elements, which greatly showcases his distinctive take on music production.

As we mark the milestone of POLAAR's 10th anniversary, we are thrilled to introduce a brand new compilation that defines our sonic territories and encapsulates the essence of our exploration in sound.
Driven by the desire of independance and passion for bass-driven rhythms and experimental sounds, Flore and his mate Marc decided to start POLAAR 10 years ago, with the ambition of shaping their unique Bass music sound, far from the code initiated by the UK club scene. Since then, we've been at the forefront of a musical revolution, championing diverse artists from all over the globe and pushing the limits of genre conventions.
Territoire / definition : Expanse of land, more or less clearly delimited, which generally presents a certain unity, a particular character.
Territoires Vol3 is a compilation in which we ask to our artists to remix a tune taken from our back catalog. It is a way to pay homage to this still relevant past releases and create a bridge between our past and present. A way to showcase the depth and diversity of our own vision, without rut of styles or BPM.

Polish Juke’s first release of the year (and in over a year!) comes from a home-team heavyweight. Half of the iconic We Rob Rave duo, DJ, producer and engineer whose sonic imprint is present throughout the label’s catalogue - from his own productions all the way to his mastering work. Dubsknit, this time under an eerily similar alias SKNIT, delivers another installment into his extensive discography right to your doorstep in the form of a hectic six-tracker - “LOOP”.

To kick things off, right off the bat we’re hit with a loud and blasting double-header of “SLUSH” and “HEAT”, where thick kicks intertwine with synthetic and roaring sounds and skeletal melodies. As the artist himself mentions, to go a little bit against the grain of the infamous, lush WRR work, he decided to strip things down a notch and focus on the electro-infused, dubby bare bones of dance music. Right in the middle of the record, we’re headed into ravier territories, with four-to-the-floor, very Chicago-esque aesthetics of “FOOSY” and beautiful vocal chops of the energetic “YO FREE”. What follows is a peak-time bomb with the We Rob Rave running mate PZG called “BLOOD” which will most definitely turn out to be both a crowd and DJ favourite. To shut things off, SKNIT serves the halftime-leaning, euphoric “I COULD LOVE” with yet another example of his amazing understanding of working around vocals, reminiscent of the many hits in the We Rob Rave/Dubsknit realm.
