With this episode, we launch a new mix series, Mainstream-downstream (主流-下流), on TESTFM Radio. The series is curated by Chaotic Discord, the owner of the Tsarskoe Selo label, who offers an honest, unconventional, and boundary-pushing approach to curation. Our first guest is the talented Munich-based selector, Daisuki.

Daisuki’s mix captures his recent transition from playing downtempo sets in bars to opening sets in clubs. The selection spans music released from the late '90s to today, with half of the records discovered in his own record store, Riviera Records.

On the mx series this week is Paris' Wendy. Renowned as a deep-digger her excellent podcast on the likes of Faciendo, Spaced and Rakya have been heavily repeated over the years. July's Sluggish Selections featuring a Guest Mix from the excellent Waxpoetic head honcho Ciaron Ó under his new alias Tsundoku

Tsundoku is a vinyl DJ who learned their craft in smoky Belfast kitchens, jumping on the decks around 5am when everyone else was too mangled to work a pitch fader. He’s played out for nights like Dialogue, On The Fence, Fiction and has recently started his own imprint Wax:Poetic, showcasing the best Irish selectors and hoping to restore a small part of the city’s underground spirit.
