2023 has been extremely emotionally charged for many of us, so enjoy an uplifting and joyous hour of house music. 

A year of turmoil and increasing chaos, polarity, disarray, and amongst it all our lives continue to drift along. Music remains an escape from this. Music offers us perspective, it allows us to escape our worries and appreciate all that we are lucky to have in this life, and this enables us to feel uplifted. House music, in particular, only emerged because certain clubs in Chicago and Detroit were spaces free from judgement or persecution. It was the simplest access to empowerment that many people were not afforded in their daily lives and this feeling still echoes in the best clubs today.  

@tombeardmoreg has delivered a joyous, uplifting hour of deep house, Latin grooves and disco to warm you into the new year. It is a mix that is designed to make you dance, expressed across a diversity of genres. 

Heavily inspired by the sounds of clubs that TBG has played in, or, attended, across a wonderful and blossoming Newcastle nightlife, the mix is ode to the freedom and positivity that club music can offer. The club is a space that remains optimistic, even in uncertain and terrifying times.
