From playlisting last year's playlists, uh yeah it was TOO much since last year marks the year where I branched out the most in labels, artists, etc. From this year forward, I'm doing one playlist, 500 songs max of everything that blew me away from this year only (or late 2023 lol). Swiss duo QZB make their second solo outing of the year for Critical with the ‘Kilowatt’ EP - packing four high-voltage drum & bass stunners, primed to electrify any dancefloor.

‘Antidote’ opens in cinematic style, layering lush soundscapes and drifting vocals over a moody filtered bassline; cross-wired with manic, razor sharp breakbeats.

Title track ‘Kilowatt’ is a simpler, but no less powerful groove, aimed straight at the rave, pushing things hard, deep and deliciously minimal.
