Nursultan Kun’s latest offering on swings and undulates with a deep groove, before introducing gorgeous strings and plucked synths that arrive seemingly out of nowhere.

The Kazakh artist’s title track, Dark Silence, sets the stage perfectly for what is to follow: a collection of stories that offer both style and substance, rhythm and melody.

Kun expertly introduces piano keys and tribal drums midway through Midnight Moon, the EP’s groove-heavy second track, before briefly flirting with his signature strings once more. But instead of allowing the strings to continue to swell, he instead takes us back to the groove.

The project’s third cut, Deep In The Shadows, provides the EP’s most reflective and touching track. Melancholic keys chime with beautiful synth plucks as the producer brings back his elegant strings for a final time. The track is slow enough to be relaxing and meditative, but at its core retains the same groove that makes the rest of Kun’s tracks so danceable.

These three delightful tracks are accompanied by an equally strong remix package, featuring an emotive reinterpretation of Dark Silence by Mass Digital, a bouncy and energetic flip of Midnight Moon by Weird Sounding Dude, and finally a remix by Draso of Deep In The Shadows that accentuates the calming atmosphere of Kun’s original track.

Known for his stellar releases on esteemed platforms like The Purr, Mango Alley, and Balkan Connection South America, Oliver brings a rich and diverse musical background to this latest offering.

The standout track, "Lost Island," is a phenomenal display of Oliver's prowess in the realm of melodic progressive house. Meanwhile, Maltese producer Abdy, one of the leaders of the underground music movement on Malta, brings his unique perspective to the table, contributing to the EP's overall sonic richness.
