Being the better alternative to mainstream in many ways - mainly because we do not judge the unsigned underground artists, giving everybody a chance to get heard and be considered for airplay on our weekly rotating top charts list, Leone and myself pride ourselves on being the undercover heroes in the music scene -- the gadget playing machine everybody can tune into. We do not agree with how mainstream media goes, half of the time , they promote too much , talk a good deal but never deliver and that is where we do deliver. Myself & Leone go above and beyond, spending time networking with music influencers, marketing , designing promotional material and building sustained solid partnerships. its important to establish a positive driven and supportive working environment in the music industry. We are all on the same team - trying to reach a majority of listeners and music professionals worldwide with a unique diverse platform that does not conform with the conventional.

LIGHTYEARS is the 4th album from Runaway Droid - A synth project by a Finnish Helsinki based metal guitarist & artist/producer ANA.

The record spans over and fuses together different decades and genres from Synthwave, Retrowave, Cyberpunk, Future Funk to Pop, Rap, Nerdcore, Rock and Metal with 17 tracks + 2 bonus tracks running 1 hour and 8 minutes in total. 

The album features several tracks with vocal collaborations from the USA and Finland. C Z A R I N A (NYC) on Moonwalker, Mark Cooper (Detroit) on Trek Wars & On the Line and Colin Cayvz (Las Vegas) on Thunder in Your Eyes. Helsinki Synth City collective is represented by Levinsky on a vocal version of Rocket Machine and Millennium Falck on a Bon Jovi cover It’s my life, especially made for Helsinki Synth City - Winter Warmer Live Event held on February 1, 2020. A decade spent in a rock band playing guitar brings back a reworked track Hellbound with R0kyu on vocals.

We are primarily inspired by the style of 80s and 90s synthmusic, but by adding a modern twist and analouge elements we create our unique sound and style in the crossfield of many genres of electronic music. Also melancholic and cinematic moods makes our music sound big and feel wide.

Our primary inspiration comes from: Depeche Mode, Underworld, David Bowie, Visage, Alphaville, A-ha, Pet Shop Boys, Kraftwerk, New Order, Duran Duran, Yellow and Tears for Fears.

But we also think, we have something in common with: Major Lazer, Innercity, Robyn, Deadmau5, MØ, Lydmor, Empire of the Sun, Air, Calvin Harris, Infernal, MGMT, Spleen United, The Human League, Loveshop, Nordstrøm, Jean-Michel Jarre, Gangway, Pink Floyd, Carpark North a.o.

INTO THE BLOOD is a duo consisting of Jens Brygmann and Carsten Bo Andersen (@caboan). Sometimes a featuring artists is used (female vocals/choir, bass, clarinet, guitar etc.).
