Happy full moon everyone! 🌕 
I have new song release update! 🤗🎶

It was a hot summer night several years ago, in my sweet West Marin home. I had just completed a deep and powerful evening of meditation and felt a strong desire to be out in nature, under the full moon. 

I hiked up the hill near my house and was struck by the most gorgeous, brilliant full moon! Its radiance filled my heart and soul with magic and inspiration. A Mercedes Sosa song celebrating the full moon beamed powerfully into my mind. I barely knew it and hadn't thought about it for years, but there it was. It arrived with a clear calling to learn and sing it. At that point, I just knew one line of it, so kept singing that line over and over again to the moon, creating other parts around it.

I went home, pulled up the lyrics, figured out some chords and created a rendition of it, very different from the original, but one that rang true to what I had heard and felt from the moon that night.

I started to share it in sacred circles and retreats and it became a favorite to sing and play with my sisters Lauren Arrow and Ila Cantor Santiago. (Such sweet memories! 💕)

Today, on the full moon, I am delighted to release "La Luna Llena," featuring Lauren Arrow on vocals and Ari Langer on violin.
I hope it brings you joy and inspiration!

In the little house in Landers, in the middle of nowhere.
In the shade of the porch, at 48°C with 0% humidity, I played on my softened strings in economy mode. I thought about the coyote I had seen the day before at dusk.
I don't know why the memory of that starving mutt moved and inspired me.
Perhaps it was because he looked so cool and at home among the dusty yuccas.
Connoisseurs will recognise the influence of Hermanos Gutiérrez and Dead Combo in this song.

Dans la petite maison de Landers au milieu de nulle part. 
A l'ombre du porche, 48° et 0% d'humidité, je jouais en mode économie sur mes cordes ramollies. Je songeais au coyote aperçu la veille au crépuscule. 
Je ne sais pas pourquoi le souvenir de ce clebs famélique m'a ému et inspiré. 
Peut être parce qu'il avait l'air si cool et tellement à sa place au milieu des yuccas poussiéreux. 
Les connaisseurs reconnaîtront l'influence des Hernanos Gutiérrez et de Dead Combo dans cette chanson.
