This song to be honest broke me because I wrote it as a moment of clarity I had to face. I spent so much time trying to save them, holding on to the people I wanted them to be, the ones they used to be. Sooner later I just when silent, don’t know when, I wasn’t holding a grudge, I wasn’t mad, I was just done, done with the cycle of events. Tired of pretending, I still want the same things for them, wish the best for them, but it’s time for me to focus on me. 🥹
