I wrote this song on an Eddie Van Halen guitar I had just purchased.  I buy and sell and trade a lot of guitars through my company Trout Valley Guitars. I often use them for inspiration. I had just purchased the guitar and set it next to my bed to play when I woke up.  This song popped in my head quickly.  It was written about 6 months before Eddie Van Halen died.  It's hard to not be influenced by him in one way or another as a player.  I actually sent a note to Sammy Haggar on Instagram saying I'd like him to play this song with me in the studio. He hasn't heard it but I know he'd do a hell of a job on it. I named it after the street Eddie lived on.

I'm Tom Hall.  I like guitars, everything about them.  I like to play them, write with them, buy, sell and trade them and I like having a lot of them of all different styles.

Many of these are working tracks, mistakes and all using single takes for the parts with drums, bass and guitars, some finished some not.  Some of the tracks were built as a background for the guitar through software, some totally live. I like the human element so you won’t hear a lot of gloss on my stuff.  I'm basically just getting things recording and sifting through things. Do it your own way, stay focused and keep it real!!
