On one side, Ronny Pinazza brings raw material to our series. However he still manages to create a bubbly ride through the harshness of the synthetically textured aural environments. Massa (@massa), Catalan DJ and producer, is one of the main names in the local Deep Techno scene, his sound is presented as elegant, deep and mental, high level Deep Techno. In 2016 he created the label Hidden Traffic (@hiddentraffic), based in Barcelona through which he publishes in physical format prior to digital and releases fine works by artists such as Deepbass, Ness, Blazej Malinowski, Reggy Van Oers and Massa himself. He performed in classic clubs of the city such as Moog or Laut and released his work on important labels on the international scene such as Affin Records, Oslated and Informa Records among others. A fine mixer, an upright artist and a lover of what he does. * Written by subradio.

Closing set for the first day of performances curated at Castell de Montjuïc for Mostra 22 (@mostrabcn) in Barcelona. The first edition of the Catalan festival gathered a total of 1,000 people along two different locations and four days of musical acts. Among the 26 artists in the line-up that provided high quality avant-garde and experimental electronic sounds.

Geek and creativity merged together to give birth to this new project. The duo ALPI was born from two young producers from Bolzano, Daniele Alessi and Gabriel Pivaro. Driven by a visceral love for vinyls and synthesizers, they started their collaboration at the beginning of 2014 and since then have continued to experiment and work in search of a distinctive sound. ALPI’s music, characterized by the use of tribal timbres and hypnotic sounds, draws the listener into a primordial and ritualistic dimension.

Clarence Rise [France]

We've already read that his music is dark and cold. It is also beautiful and subtle. French producer Clarence Rise has developed a strong, intense and singular musical identity, where incisive techno meets the icy atmospheres of coldwave. Some people characterize his work as Cinematic or Cold Techno, with a strong focus on complex rhythms, dark sound design and contemplative melancholy.
Author of numerous releases on different labels (Khoros Records, Chez KitoKat, Bella Ursa, Spazio Magnetico...), this DJ and live artist makes his shows real journeys, as powerful as introspective.

The human mind, a vast and intricate realm, sometimes finds itself in disarray. When our conscious and subconscious parts fall out of harmony, and the weight of existence becomes too heavy to bear, we may succumb to an oppressive system's grip and spiral into the abyss of turmoil and overpowering emotions. Then, we yearn for a refuge, a way out to escape the emptiness that engulfs us.
In such desperation, a rhythmic groove may serve as a sanctuary, providing a mental space to immerse ourselves in. This space allows us to plunge into a world of mesmerizing sounds, suffused with an experimental texture that enthrals us and leads us on a wondrous expedition. We drift into a dream world of frequencies, where the atmosphere shapes us into our most authentic selves and evokes raw emotions.
Take a moment to find a serene spot, close your eyes, and let us swim together in the ethereal realm of spirituality. Through this voyage, we may rekindle our connection with the vastness of our minds and rediscover the beauty of our innermost selves.
