As the summer sadly begins to draw to a close we thought we’d maintain our happy sunshine vibes and keep the party going a little while longer by bringing in one of the house scenes new school heavyweights H.O.S.H to deliver this weeks exclusive podcast. One of the fundamental parts of Solomun’s brotherhood of electronic music, Diynamic H.O.SH, real name Holger Behn has long been considered one of the industry’s innovators both as a DJ and a producer. 

A DJ since he was a teenager Holger prized ability to spin records into one  coherent, seamless journey has been winning him fans across the globe and it was via his love of mixing that he decided to start producing records of his own. The usual biographical tales of teenage years being spent having music lessons do not apply here: H.O.S.H. got into production simply because he wanted to know how the records he was playing week in, week out were put together. Once he mastered that, there was no looking back…. Says H.O.S.H. “When it comes to producing, making music for me is like cooking - the meal / track gets better the more love you put in. “

An integral part of the Diynamic imprint since 2006 alongside label and sometimes flat mates Solomun and Stimming H.O.S.H has undoubtedly helped steer house music into unchartered waters. With a subtle deftness to his productions and an engaging track selection that have lit up his residencies at some of the globes hottest nightspots such as Watergate in Berlin, Studio 80 in Amsterdam or Ego in Hamburg it appears that H.O.S.H is a name that’s here to stay.

With his section of Diynamic’s innovative Forever Young project (4 Releases that will eventually bring together 8 tracks on a limited pressing of 500 10" Vinyls. Each of the 8 tracks represents a character from a childhood dream and each release will be accompanied by a special video clearly connected with the theme FOREVER YOUNG and the chosen character) about to drop his passion for music seemingly boundless “I am a DJ/producer/promoter as music is the only constant thing in my life which didn´t bore me” we’re proud to present to you the sound of Hamburg for this weeks podcast. Now if we can just tempt him to cook for us too…

A crystal like cluster of Lighthouses ranging from 6 to 60 foot tall and some leaning as much as 20 degrees. Inspired by the juxtaposition of creating a destination of fun and shelter by something that is meant to warn you of danger. This adult jungle gym aims to become a destination where participants come to seek shelter, play, meetup with friends and navigate the inland sea that is the Playa. At night the Lighthouses will truly come alive with fire, light, and a few other surprises.

La Fleur delivers an exquisite and brilliant mix for the 67th episode of the B4 Podcast.

La Fleur is without doubt one of the finest exponents of modern Swedish house & techno and in this mix, she develops a musical discourse with a strong personality. Travelling through a wide range of sound nuances, in these 60 minutes La Fleur intertwines industrial, spatial, melodic and playful moments, all tied together by the same thread: power and rhythm. 

La Fleur is an artist to be followed very closely. In 2018 she’s enjoying a rich vein of form, starting with the acclaimed ‘Exhaust’, which was released on Adam Beyer’s Truesoul imprint, followed by a strong EP in May titled ‘Outbreaker’ on Watergate Records, featuring a remix by Tuff City Kids, the buzzed side project of Gerd Janson. In August she laid down a critically acclaimed debut Essential Mix that received plaudits from across the industry. The year was also highlighted by a standout collaboration with Sasha titled ‘Förbindelse’ that was anointed Essential New Tune by Pete Tong on BBC Radio 1. 

Starting 2019 in fine fashion, in March she’ll release ‘Aphelion’ on her Power Plant label, making it the first EP on the imprint since 2017 (vinyl release: 8th March and digital release: 15th March) followed by a Speicher release on the renowned, Kompakt at the end of April.

La Fleur es sin duda una de las mayores exponentes del house y techno sueco moderno y, como tal, en este mix desarrolla un discurso musical con mucha personalidad. Viajando por una amplia gama de matices sonoros, en estos 60 minutos La Fleur intercepta momentos industriales, melódicos, espaciales y juguetones, todos unidos por un mismo hilo conductor: la potencia y el ritmo. 

La Fleur es una artista a la que se le debe poner mucha atención.
