1st Rambling: The artilect will one day rise out of the human imagination. It will be granted self sustainability and automation in the joint environment by our doing. This poses some new risks and challenges. Is it possible to maintain control over it/he/she? We could easily get conflicting interests with them as we already have with our fellow human beings, whatever they might be like. Some of them will turn out to be killers, like some of us. Being artificial, creates the potential for large intelligence boosts for the artilect. In the long run, this development will most certainly be beyond our understanding of intelligence, and can put humans in a inferior and dangerous position. Do you care for a rat in your garden or a mosquito in your living room, or do you exterminate it? After all, we are notorious killers, even for none-survival reasons. What will our artificial children be like? The Singularity looms threatening over our species domination, and ultimately it will affect our future survival.

3rd Rambling: Externalisation of the human psyche has taken on an enormous growth since the emergence of the Web. Before the digital age, our heritage normally lied deeply hidden within each of us, or were confined to stay behind the walls of our homes, hidden from the public, except for a fortunate few of us. Today, we have an external backup of our collective mind easily accessible, at a second to none-cost. Be well advised to bring yourself back the next time you dive deep into the collective (un)conscious, hoping for the archetypes to reveal themselves.

2nd Rambling: Behold the never ending era of information espionage. Citizens getting oppressed and exploited by their governments covert operations throughout the entire biosphere. Watch history repeat itself with increasingly more sophisticated technological means for achieving these goals. Welcome to the power hungry, control obsessive, never-ending dance of the Stasigrad Station.

The Radiolarians, finds it impossible to understand the concepts of “us” and “others”.
