Over the many years that Digital Shamans Records has been pushing its music and energy worldwide, we have made countless amazing connections and continue to make them, expanding our vision to the highest levels.

After the great success of Z3nkai & Friends, the time has come for the next chapter. Carpe Diem is the latest EP from ADAY - Digital Shamans Records featuring collaborations with our own DSR residents, alongside some of the most rockin’ artists on the scene today.

In a world full of uncertainty, we must seize the day and live life to the fullest in the here and now. With that in mind, we are proud to be able to showcase the efforts of our DSR family and friends as we try to live true to that creed, producing new and innovative psychedelic music to ensnare the senses and ground us all together in this moment.

Alex is one of South Africa's standout producers, hailing from Johannesburg, known in the Psytrance scene, crafts high-energy psychedelic music. A strong proponent of Hi-Tech, he's been a driving force in Johannesburg's psychedelic music community.


Titled "Why Not?", the EP features 4 intricately crafted solo tracks that showcase his unique sound—a fusion of alien and robotic influences seamlessly woven into pulsating basslines . This EP is a true tale of artistic expression through technology and alien frequencies. WHY NOT delve in??

This is a three-way fusion: 🌊 Amapiano for the emotional chords and log drums. 🥁 Afro House for the driving heartbeat. ⚙️ Afro Tech for the industrial, futuristic atmosphere.
