This release heralds a significant milestone for Iron Shirt Recordings, but also representing both the first album and the first vinyl release for Rednote. With its core ideas and themes written while immersed in Leeds underground music scene and compiled as a final project while secluded on the south coast of England during lockdown.

A sacred place, a place where one is free from intrusion.
The name Sanctum represents an adjective for the escapism of studio sessions during this time as well as the atmospheric and ethereal theme of the album that aims to portray the emotional push and pull of finding stillness while living through intensity.

The physical side of the album showcases the core of the Rednote sound, upfront 140bpm with rolling drums and heavy sub bass, while the digital side contains further exploration of UK bass, jazz and world music influences. Like a sanctuary from the chaos of the world, the album encapsulates moments of introspection and release, echoing the duality of existence: the relentless intensity of life juxtaposed with moments of profound stillness.

Underpinning the albums concept is collaboration with one of Leeds finest rising producers Gnasha, “Onslaught” combining choral atmospherics, harmonic guitar melodies, growling mid basses, heavy sub lines, shuffling percussion and jazzy sampling.

Expanding on the sonic landscape of the album, we delve into remix territories starting with the luminary artist "Biome" delivering an intense rework of "Onslaught," infusing it with his signature style. Meanwhile, the esteemed duo "Dark Entity", lends their expertise to craft a mesmerizing remix of "Outsider." These reinterpretations further enrich the album's tapestry, seamlessly blending with Rednote's original vision to create an immersive auditory experience.

This is a 12-inch Vinyl Sampler featuring only the A and B sides. When you purchase the 12-inch Sampler, you will receive a digital download link of the complete release on its release date, which includes the C side.

From New Zealand, Graysound came to us with this hybrid project, especially designed for his own sound system. This playlist will inevitably push subwoofers to their limits. Even tho the project is vocal intensive, the great balance between electronic and acoustic frequencies forges a distinctive sound. Each track is unique, backed by your classical reggae vibes and a flavour of darkness, it's your choice whether to shift to the other side. Strong bonds and collaborations arise for the creation of this piece, Natty Campbell, Rider Shafique, Wreckage, Dark Entity, SKG's Dub Alliance, Young Gho$t, L Nix and Rains all took part in this journey individually raising the bar higher which increased the potential of each artist in their own area of expertise. The combination of all these different styles denominated the "Champion Sound", a proposal we could never reject. An original blend pushing our sound above limits and accross borders.

Hi and welcome to our Intransikbeats Podcast, this time we have the pleasure to have Luke Xander from the west of Ireland with us for a sixty minute set of techno music.

Luke began his journey 7 years ago where he started playing in numerous venues nationwide.
He now resides in Dublin as a resident dj for ‘The Building Society’ where they often host solid techno events with line-ups featuring locals and international acts. Welcome to our 53rd Episode of the IntransikBeats Podcast, to prepare for the transition of the autumn days smoothly, we're glad to present to you an hour of the finest selection of dynamic paced techno variety mixed by 'Diane Cytochrome' from Lyon, France.
With a classical music background at the conservatory, Diane became very passionate about electronic music culture and gave up the piano and her cello for turntables. In her artistic approach, she forms her universe by drawing inspiration from different trends to forge her intimate vision of music. The desired aesthetic: find the light in the dark, vector of hope like life after death, a world where the vibrations are contrasted through heavy, powerful and melodic sounds. The Techno influence essentially consolidates this dark universe contrasted by the light. A singular universe without complacency through its sound selection without boundaries.
Diane opened 'Les Nuits Sonores 2013' in Lyon,  by mixing at the inauguration of the Festival. The 2013/2014 season marks her professionalization in the performing field as a DJ, with her residency 'CYTOCHROME' at the Terminal Club in Lyon. Today we're glad to present to you our new addition to the IntransikBeats Records roster, italian-born and London based DE:MA also known under his deep dubstep alias as 'Fluid Cubo'; Mainly focusing on dub-techno, industrial atmospheres, break beats and out of the ordinary sounds inspired by the Bristol Underground scene, DE:MA draws his unique style by his early influences from sub-heavy sound system culture and pulsating techno scene in his home city Rome; In 2016, he becomes part of Under My Feet lnd, an experimental concept night that has grown into an artistic respected project. These 60 minutes of well mixed and selected tunes will speak for themselves revealing what he has in stock for us in the future.

Welcome to our summer edition of the Intransikbeats Podcast ! This time around we are glad to present to you our guest 'Tension', bringing us a cocktail of refreshing techno beats that will be sinking you into an captivating journey full of surprises and mysteries ; A lot of outstanding gems as well as his own productions will definitely have you digging further down into his content; Releases on a variety of labels such as 'Kaputt Musik', 'Illegal Aliens', 'Vector Functions' and recently 'Be Sure', make sure to check it out !
His debut in music all started through digging the parents‘ Soul and 80‘s Dance Tapes in his childhood, Tension got influenced with music early. By listening to genres like Hip Hop, Metal and later Drum & Bass aswell as House Music, he got entusiastic about the diversity of electronic music. Those Inspirations have inspired his musical career, but contributed to his eclecticism in sound.  By gathering experience at clubs and festivals since 2006, he soon got deeper into DJing and producing various electronic sounds.  Based in his hometown Bielefeld, he took his sound to South Africa in 2013 for a 14 days tour, followed by gigs at Berlin‘s Kater Holzig, Maria am Ostbahnhof and Tresor in 2016. Beside several EP‘s, he released his first self entitled album on his regular, Berlin-based label „Be Sure“. Relevantly embossed by labels like Basic Channel, Ostgut Ton or Perlon, he situates his sound between the poles of (Dub-)Techno, Electronica and Breakbeat, but with a touch of minimalism which he expresses aswell in his DJ- as in his Livesets.

IntransikBeats is a record label that aims to highlight raw and uncompromising Techno which displays a dark and gloomy musical image. Our network of like-minded people strives to innovate and contribute to a ever growing community of producers and artists, always remembering where we came from and where we want to be.

Starting out as group of independent artists and DJs, involved in and fostering the alternative music scene in Shanghai, China where Intransik has been fortunate enough to be able to host events for many years.

Sound design and audio engineering is an integral part of the team’s creative output. Naturally this curiosity in original soundtracks and post production lead to the involvement in creating and applying various sonic concepts to different media projects.

We have made it our goal to try to capture the sound of these events and the musical output of the artists involved. This vision will be showcased on our label and upcoming vinyl releases starting, along with label events, art installations and various cross-media projects.
