“You Also Be Ready”
 ~ Luke 12:39-40 ~

このことを、
わきまえているがよい。

家の主人は、
盗賊がいつごろ来るか
わかっているなら、
自分の家に
押し入らせは
しないであろう。

あなたがたも
用意していなさい。
思いがけない時に
人の子が
来るからである。


But know this, 
that if the master of the house 
had known what hour 
the thief would come, 
he would have watched 
and not allowed his house 
to be broken into. 

Therefore 
you also be ready, 
for the Son of Man 
is coming at an hour 
you do not expect.

You Also Be Ready

Last week we saw the ferocious love of Jesus, as he pronounced woes on those who would use religion to keep us from finding hope in him. In this passage Jesus turns to his disciples and strengthens us to remain faithful in a world hostile to faith by warning us of the pitfalls of hypocrisy, fear of man and unbelief all the while providing promises for His kids with each warning given. This message was preached by Pastor Erick Cobb on August 10, 2025.
