Hi and welcome to our IntransikBeats Podcast °17. Vince Lorenz on the mic and this month, i have the honor to present to you one of our IntransikBeats Collaborator and my brother, #StevenLorenz. 
He has prepared a fine techno set for us this month, featuring some exclusive productions and releases from all around the globe. He himself has released on many outstanding techno and dubstep labels such as Dark and Sonorous, Iron Shirt Recordings, Concepto Hipnotico and more; 
He’s also currently working on an album coming out on DMT Records soon.
For those who don’t know him, he’s been organising events for a couple of years, aiming to represent the underground music scene in Deep Dubstep and Dark Techno within China. 
This month’s BASSMENT event @ the Shelter presents DJ/Producer Below Surface:
He will showcase some of his techno production and selections that he s been playing around the world, from the Great Wall of China to Tresor Berlin in Germany.

Resident Advisor Review

  The promo video made for Sunset of a Clown Volume II is the opening shot to a Godard film soundtracked by Nicolas Jaar's "Marquises." It's either the height of pretension, or pretty brilliant. That I can't work out which probably makes it the latter. Music that actually puts you in a position where you're required to think about how it makes you feel is often among the finest. "Marquises" and the tracks that surround it on this second release from Jaar's imprint aren't necessarily the greatest things in the world, but each of them occupy a space that is hard to quantify—and that's exactly the point.

  Nikita Quasim's "Framboises" is bustling with microsound while a piano plays quickly over top in a superior mood piece, while Jaar's biting of French folkie is a nice twist on the prevailing trend towards South American protest songs. (He overlays it with a lazy breakbeat rather than a pounding house beat too, which seems to fulfill his stated goal of "taking the beats even slower.") Soul Keita, meanwhile, brings the only track that veers close enough to a dance floor. It builds and it builds, as an acoustic guitar and kick drum while away as a hazy sample gradually comes into view. Typically, the climax isn't the sort of thing that will have Amnesia crowds in ecstasy, but when you're dealing with music as intimate as this, you tend to want to have it for yourself anyway.

Would like to share with you very special audio recording. This is a introductory part for a dj set that i played this year at Psy-Fi festival.
 
For this performance i invited my new friend - Fresh to join me with his mantra live vocal looping improvisation. This collaboration created some very special vibe and raise energy on the dance-floor. Unfortunately his audio and all the rest wasn’t recorded.
 
Don't forget,  our life is a direct consequence of our daily actions and intentions. When we change ourself - we change the world around us.

As highlighted by us in September last year, then Romanians have unwittingly formed a new blend of dance music, blending minimal techno & groove laden deep house, sewn up and exported to some of the clubbing world's hottest cities. Djs Rhadoo, Raresh and many more have helped to define a new sound amongst an overly-familiar genre - including hot export Priku. This Romanian musician and DJ shares a special 2 hour live mix with MEOKO, recorded at Bucharest's Snrs48 party, in turn delivering a live and unedited snapshot of his driving, deep and at times, subtle sound. A dynamic mix - playing with the space between notes and veering into minimal, atmospheric tapestries - Priku's focus on nuances in sound, percussive elements and thick slabs of bass running throughout shall take the MEOKO listener on a far flung, left of centre journey into a lesser known aesthetic. Yog-Sothoth is a cosmic entity and Outer God of the Cthulhu Mythos and the Dream Cycle of H. P. Lovecraft. Born of the Nameless Mist, he is the progenitor of Cthulhu, Hastur the Unspeakable and the ancestor of the Voormi. 

Yog-Sothoth is omniscient, and is locked outside the universe, meaning he knows and can see all of space-time all at once, that there is no secret hidden from Yog-Sothoth. 

So is this a compilation? 
No, this is a collaboration and huge undertaking. 20 artists linked studios and sound for over a year so that they could work with each other. This led to a deep exploration of the Mythos and Yog-Sothoth

Welcome to our 53rd Episode of the IntransikBeats Podcast, to prepare for the transition of the autumn days smoothly, we're glad to present to you an hour of the finest selection of dynamic paced techno variety mixed by 'Diane Cytochrome' from Lyon, France.
With a classical music background at the conservatory, Diane became very passionate about electronic music culture and gave up the piano and her cello for turntables. In her artistic approach, she forms her universe by drawing inspiration from different trends to forge her intimate vision of music. The desired aesthetic: find the light in the dark, vector of hope like life after death, a world where the vibrations are contrasted through heavy, powerful and melodic sounds. The Techno influence essentially consolidates this dark universe contrasted by the light. A singular universe without complacency through its sound selection without boundaries.
Diane opened 'Les Nuits Sonores 2013' in Lyon,  by mixing at the inauguration of the Festival. The 2013/2014 season marks her professionalization in the performing field as a DJ, with her residency 'CYTOCHROME' at the Terminal Club in Lyon. Today we're glad to present to you our new addition to the IntransikBeats Records roster, italian-born and London based DE:MA also known under his deep dubstep alias as 'Fluid Cubo'; Mainly focusing on dub-techno, industrial atmospheres, break beats and out of the ordinary sounds inspired by the Bristol Underground scene, DE:MA draws his unique style by his early influences from sub-heavy sound system culture and pulsating techno scene in his home city Rome; In 2016, he becomes part of Under My Feet lnd, an experimental concept night that has grown into an artistic respected project. These 60 minutes of well mixed and selected tunes will speak for themselves revealing what he has in stock for us in the future.

Welcome to our summer edition of the Intransikbeats Podcast ! This time around we are glad to present to you our guest 'Tension', bringing us a cocktail of refreshing techno beats that will be sinking you into an captivating journey full of surprises and mysteries ; A lot of outstanding gems as well as his own productions will definitely have you digging further down into his content; Releases on a variety of labels such as 'Kaputt Musik', 'Illegal Aliens', 'Vector Functions' and recently 'Be Sure', make sure to check it out !
His debut in music all started through digging the parents‘ Soul and 80‘s Dance Tapes in his childhood, Tension got influenced with music early. By listening to genres like Hip Hop, Metal and later Drum & Bass aswell as House Music, he got entusiastic about the diversity of electronic music. Those Inspirations have inspired his musical career, but contributed to his eclecticism in sound.  By gathering experience at clubs and festivals since 2006, he soon got deeper into DJing and producing various electronic sounds.  Based in his hometown Bielefeld, he took his sound to South Africa in 2013 for a 14 days tour, followed by gigs at Berlin‘s Kater Holzig, Maria am Ostbahnhof and Tresor in 2016. Beside several EP‘s, he released his first self entitled album on his regular, Berlin-based label „Be Sure“. Relevantly embossed by labels like Basic Channel, Ostgut Ton or Perlon, he situates his sound between the poles of (Dub-)Techno, Electronica and Breakbeat, but with a touch of minimalism which he expresses aswell in his DJ- as in his Livesets.

Starting out as group of independent artists and DJs, involved in and fostering the alternative music scene in Shanghai, China where Intransik has been fortunate enough to be able to host events for many years.
