Enamour has come out of nowhere in the last year, the DC native putting in hours of dedication both in the studio and booth to claim numerous top 10 Beatport records and support from some of the biggest names in dance music, including Deep Dish, Lane 8, and Rufus. His collaboration with Rinzen, "Quark," made a huge splash this spring as part of our Four Points III package, and then he quickly followed up with an ace remix for Made By Pete. Now, Enamour makes his solo debut on Yoshitoshi with "Amnesia" and "Taboo," two blistering cuts that demonstrate exactly why the upcomer is a force to be reckoned with. 

"Amnesia" sits squarely between the worlds of techno and progressive house. It's an aggressive tune that effortlessly fuses a tough, peak-time groove with the wistful arpeggiated melodies that he has become known for. A beefy, distorted bass riff takes up the energy level even further, causing absolute wreckage in the club. "Taboo" is more of the same, but on a slightly deeper and tribal note. The track builds with incredible intensity as Enamour's analog synth crescendos and expertly programmed percussion lead into a powerhouse drop and true hands-in-the-air moment. 

It's truly exciting to see such talent from a DC producer, the city Yoshitoshi has called home since its inception in 1994. Enamour is a true talent to look out for. Grab "Amnesia / Taboo" on Beatport and Spotify on August 2nd.

Deersky’s Soundteller Records welcomes more fresh talent to the label with Sergey Muzarks making his debut. The Russian artist first appeared on the electronic underground in December of last year with an EP via CJ Art’s Deepersense Music. Subsequent releases for Freegrant Music and Outta Limits have propelled Sergey into one of his country’s top up and coming progressive house artists. Now continuing that momentum the Moscow resident debuts on Soundteller with ‘Timeless’.

Spread across two tracks it’s the peak time sensibility of the title selection which gets the EP underway. Electric rhythms and a solemn overlay set the tone, as a bed of warm beats and immaculately carved bass drops in. Tastefully executed, it’s poignant arps, indistinct vocals and glowing pads highlight the first act. The break finds the melodic narrative open up even more with a grandiose lead line elevating emotion before getting washed away in a classic build and charged final act.

The companion piece ‘Contemplation’ operates in a similar sonic plane and is equally excellent. Perhaps a touch tougher and more deliberate at the outset it’s a cinematic canopy and playful arps that quickly take you into more emotive territory. Once again indistinct vocals play a role, tastefully adding emotion at key moments while the main break brings a heartfelt vibe to finish the release off on a reflective note. It rounds out a sensational EP from Sergey who continues to rise with his Soundteller debut. Highly recommended.

A friendship is one thing, but continuous development is vitally important. This is why the fellows decided not to take a break at the level of current achievements and grounded their own record label. «By the times someone discovers the points of coincidence with the colleagues not only in terms of business, but also creative sphere – that is always a positive experience! – Unification of musical efforts in frames of one label is our next and by no means unimportant step in creative self-fulfillment».

It is important to mention that the quad is not going to limit the newborn imprint’s catalog only with own productions. Intricate Records is also a promising platform for implementation of creative aspiration of other talented producers who feel themselves on the same wave quite often.

«Right at the moment there is no single record label which coincides with my musical taste and general conception, which I would like to see being embodied. Starting a new imprint with the fellow guys, I’m looking forward to the having the possibility of fulfilling myself as an A&R-manager and making the current musical world at least a little bit better. We are going to collaborate with our friends and associates from around the world.
