The Russian progressive label Intricate Records presents a new single co-written by Boom Jinx and PROFF, "Blue Angel". It will feature the original version of the track plus remixes by Blend pres. Volant, Vadim Soloviev and Fon.Leman. This in all senses star release was born in the creative laboratory of Intricate Records, mind at least the well-known and multi-talented authors responsible for this newest track. The remarkable constellation was built up of Oistein J. Eide, better known on the international scene as Boom Jinx - a highly experienced Norwegian with a Nordic temper and very high aesthetic sensitivity. 

Oistein is professionally involved into sound design for over 20 years, he also dedicated 9 years to electronic dance music production and DJing. His Boom Jinx name has a strong linkage to Anjunabeats and Anjunadeep brands. His collaborator on this project is Vladimir Yershov aka PROFF, one of Intricate Records' co-founders. Vladimir is widely renowned for his versatile musical talent, nowadays PROFF is an important player of the global club scene. The remix package is not less impressive. 

Their own interpretations were made by the label's co-founder Vadim Soloviev, the most prolific resident of the label Alexey Fon.Leman and the Austria-based producer Blend under his side-project alias Blend pres. Volant. The single's title itself, "Blue Angel", reminds the listeners of mythological heavenly creatures, while the most attentive label followers will notice a possible heading reference to the similarly-named movie from 1930s with Marlene Dietrich in the lead role. According to its plot, a school teacher comes to a harbour tavern "Blue Angel" in order to break his apprentices' habit of night visits to the charming singer Lola-Lola. As a result of such visit, the teacher himself falls under her spell. It is important to mention that the joint production by Boom Jinx and PROFF has a similar impact on the listeners.

Not many people will know this but Galatea was actually written as our follow up to our debut single 'Arctic Moment' & was never finished until 2011.
As with many of of our tracks, sometimes we write ideas & come back to them at a later stage & this was certainly the case with 'Galatea'

Named after one of Neptune's Moons, we asked Rob 'Activa' Stevenson if he could engineer the final mix when Greg was unavailable & Rob liked the track so much he asked us if he could collab with us on this version.

Supported by Paul Van Dyk & hammered by Aly & Fila including it being featured on their Future Sound of Egypt Vol 1 Compilation, as well as support from Paul Oakenfold, Bryan Kearney, John O'Callaghan & many more.
Galatea was released on FSOE in 2011.

This is why the fellows decided not to take a break at the level of current achievements and grounded their own record label. «By the times someone discovers the points of coincidence with the colleagues not only in terms of business, but also creative sphere – that is always a positive experience! – Unification of musical efforts in frames of one label is our next and by no means unimportant step in creative self-fulfillment».

It is important to mention that the quad is not going to limit the newborn imprint’s catalog only with own productions. Intricate Records is also a promising platform for implementation of creative aspiration of other talented producers who feel themselves on the same wave quite often.

«Right at the moment there is no single record label which coincides with my musical taste and general conception, which I would like to see being embodied. Starting a new imprint with the fellow guys, I’m looking forward to the having the possibility of fulfilling myself as an A&R-manager and making the current musical world at least a little bit better. We are going to collaborate with our friends and associates from around the world. I certainly believe, if such projects are held with well-intentioned mood and built on relations of friendship, there are certain chances to make something special and terminative».
