Mexico based producer by the guise of Andrew Frenir teams up with us through our Progressive House Worldwide label and makes his debut. Being a producer that's been around for some time, we now managed to cross roads with each other. He is introduced on the label with a melody driven progressive 2 track EP. 

With the opener, named as “Retro Beach” a super melodic track is brought on to you, paced with smooth melodies, well jammed vocal additions and a nice energy from start to finish. 

You also get another original, this one baptized as “Visnove”. This is another warm and melodic progressive gem from this in fame rising producer. With gorgeous melodies, warm sounds and really matching vocal addition this surely is another winner from this producer.

Globally acclaimed trance & progressive veteran Robert Nickson has been a leader in our scene for well over a decade. It has been our great honor to work with Robert in recent years, as he continues to contribute deeper progressive sounds to our imprint, under his RNX guise.

His latest EP includes a wonderful collaboration with Paul Mads, "Whatever," which first appeared (in mixed form only) on Shingo Nakamura's "Only Silk 03" compilation. A chilled progressive house groove and after-hours soundscape, highlighted by a jazzy keyboard motif, establishes a soothing and sensual mood. In the main break, we're met with an infectious vocal sample, which helps carry the more uptempo latter half of the track.

The B-side, "Joshua Tree," sinks into even deeper territory, especially in the opening build of the arrangement. We're met with ominous pads and a recurring, hypnotic lead synth line, setting the stage for a sonic revelation in the main break. Joshua Tree's rugged beauty is well documented by casual travelers and spiritual seekers alike; Robert depicts the "awakening" one can experience while hiking there in the form of a breathtaking symphony of synth layers in the song's climax.

As we pass the halfway point in 2020, it's time to present the third release of the year on the Greenstone imprint. This time we bring you Arbor; a club track that is perhaps destined not for the dance floors of clubland but rather to grace the decks of many a live stream in the months ahead.

Arbor was written as a back to basics club track, powerful groove, hypnotic percussion and melody that ebbs, flows and swells to a crescendo, only to give way to a thumping peak section that cashes down like a monster wave, rolling towards the shore, to eventually dissipate, retract and reform as a memory of what has just come before.

«Intricate Records is something tangible and emerging from our long-term friendship and creative relations. – It is hard to imagine that someone will make an objection regarding many associable details and ideas of our creative work. The most significant part is that our preferences and tastes intricately but harmoniously amplify each other in most cases. All of us feel it. That is why the creation of a record label is a logical step for our career».

A friendship is one thing, but continuous development is vitally important. This is why the fellows decided not to take a break at the level of current achievements and grounded their own record label. «By the times someone discovers the points of coincidence with the colleagues not only in terms of business, but also creative sphere – that is always a positive experience! – Unification of musical efforts in frames of one label is our next and by no means unimportant step in creative self-fulfillment».

It is important to mention that the quad is not going to limit the newborn imprint’s catalog only with own productions. Intricate Records is also a promising platform for implementation of creative aspiration of other talented producers who feel themselves on the same wave quite often.

«Right at the moment there is no single record label which coincides with my musical taste and general conception, which I would like to see being embodied. Starting a new imprint with the fellow guys, I’m looking forward to the having the possibility of fulfilling myself as an A&R-manager and making the current musical world at least a little bit better. We are going to collaborate with our friends and associates from around the world. I certainly believe, if such projects are held with well-intentioned mood and built on relations of friendship, there are certain chances to make something special and terminative».
