 With a mission statement to spread "full-energy progressive sounds to a global audience", SHAZZE is an artist with a culturally diverse background. From Indian roots and a life spent largely in the UK, his graduation from the London Sound Academy has subsequently seen him flourish with performances at London's Ministry of Sound and EGG LDN. Furthermore, a production career that began in early 2021 has quickly led to releases on Einmusika, BeatFreak, UV, and ICONYC. Making his Perspectives Digital debut in December 2022 with his his hit track "Lucy", SHAZZE returns to the label with a new single titled "No Time To Waste". "No Time To Waste" is full of driving Melodic Techno character as a 16th note bassline and syncopated synth phrase add immediate urgency. Quickly hitting its stride via a smooth melodic lead and growling bass note, light vocal phrasing adds a further layer of intrigue and spine-tingling emotion. A superbly imagined breakdown creates a powerful zenith before melodic prowess and driving rhythmic force return in the second half to dynamic effect. With a string of successful releases in 2023 and a Beatport #1 hit to his name, Nihil Young has consistently found himself dining at dance music's top table with his self-confessed "expressive and captivating soundscapes". Spotify success has followed with more than 250,000 monthly listeners and over 10 million streams for his tracks "Don't Give Up", "Say", and "Hey Now". For his long-awaited return on Perspectives, Nihil's reworking of "No Time To Waste" is a smooth, Progressive House gem. Through a rolling percussive top-line and effortless bass groove, the remix intelligently uses the central themes and vocal phrasing of SHAZZE's original while changing the key and creating a spellbinding work. Exploding into life in the second half, a staccato bassline pattern adds dancefloor brio in an impressive and imaginative version of the track. Far Distance are the final artists to showcase their dynamic production credentials. Spanning almost a decade dating back to a debut in mid-2014, the Spanish duo's blend of Progressive House and Melodic House and Techno has seen them feature on a panoply of high-profile imprints that include Einmusika, Eleatics, Dear Deer, and Astral Records. Their "Stardust" EP in late 2021 brought notable success on Perspectives Digital before "Alfa Centauri" continued that success a year later. Now returning for their 5th release on Darin Epsilon's label, the Far Distance rework brilliantly retains the central melodic motif of the original mix while framing it within a powerful new rhythmic foundation and crisp percussive shell. Building with consummate ease to a rousing mid-point denouement, their version elevates "No Time To Waste" to a club banger before striking bass and familiar melodic patterns return to see out a hypnotic final movement.

SHAZZE - No Time To Waste (Nihil Young Remix) [Perspectives Digital]

Clubsonica Records opens the fall season by unveiling the fourth edition of their Sampler Series. Following its debut in 2021, Clubsonica's Various Artists Sampler Series is now a regular and much anticipated offering in the label's catalog, fitting nicely alongside the MMW and ADE showcases which operate under a similar ethos. The trending series has been a platform not only for a wide assortment of upcoming talent, but also some of progressive music's most notable names in Golan Zocher & Greenage, Kamilo Sanclemente, Ric Niels and more. Now embarking on the fourth edition, Clubsonica boss Juan Pablo Torrez has compiled the series' most comprehensive volume to date, featuring new music from (in order of appearance): Cybek, Electric Dada, KAZKO, Mauricio Brigante, Ruben Karapetyan and Solis (US). 

Making his label debut with selection one is Cybek. With a fresh approach to the melodic house genre, Cybek would enjoy a quick ascent, signing projects to Solee's Future Romance and Berlin based imprint IAMHER across the next calendar year. Now, continuing on an upwards trajectory, Cybek makes his Clubsonica debut with the astral sounds of ‘Eternal'. 

The second selection welcomes Electric Dada to the label with ‘Branium'. The duo's progressive style was immediately recognized for its emotive qualities and strong dancefloor sensibility. With a recently released collaboration with roku's Da Luka, Electric Dada now make their Clubsonica debut with the smooth uplifting sounds of ‘Branium'. 

Moving forward to selection three is KAZKO who returns with his latest studio creation ‘Back to Paradise'.. 2023 has proved to be a breakout year for KAZKO, adding projects for Freegrant Music, onedotsixtwo, Songuara and Nick Warren's The Soundgarden to his resume. Now, looking to build on the success of his label debut ‘Sun Dance', KAZKO returns to Clubsonica with the organic vibes of ‘Back to Paradise'. 

The collection's fourth selection is provided by Mauricio Brigante who makes his label debut with ‘Nma'. With a sound that often finds the creative space between progressive and tech house, Colombian artist Mauricio Brigante has found a home on BOOTH, Serrano's Kitchen and Exx Boundless, while electronic music tastemakers Claptone and Oxia have praised his work. Now, looking to explore a deeper side of his studio repertoire, Mauricio makes his Clubsonica debut with the soulful sounds of ‘Nma'. 

Selection five finds Ruben Karapetyan returning to the label for his first original offering ‘Hyperphantasia'. His emotive synth leads, cross-cultural motifs and tough, dancefloor minded grooves have made for a resonant worldly sound that is all his own. On the strength of this fresh approach, Ruben has earned praise from trendsetters such as Hernan Cattaneo and Nick Warren, while showcasing his music on the genre's premiere imprints in Meanwhile, Mango Alley, Movement and The Soundgarden. Having made his Clubsonica debut with a well-received remix of ‘Kamikaze' by K Loveski and Geronimo Eguiguren, Ruben now lands back on the label with the deep and enchanting vibes of ‘Hyperphantasia'. 

The release concludes with Solis (US) making his label debut with ‘Accelerator'. David's unique amalgamation of sound would earn him fans across all those genre spectrums, while landing key releases via Camel VIP and Tibetania Records. Now embarking on the most anticipated project of his young career, Solis debuts on Clubsonica with the darker monochromes of ‘Accelerator'. Tastefully nostalgic, it rounds out a must have fourth edition of Clubsonica's Sampler Series, one where an array of talented artists showcases their best in organic, progressive and melodic house trends.

This is why the fellows decided not to take a break at the level of current achievements and grounded their own record label. «By the times someone discovers the points of coincidence with the colleagues not only in terms of business, but also creative sphere – that is always a positive experience! – Unification of musical efforts in frames of one label is our next and by no means unimportant step in creative self-fulfillment».

It is important to mention that the quad is not going to limit the newborn imprint’s catalog only with own productions. Intricate Records is also a promising platform for implementation of creative aspiration of other talented producers who feel themselves on the same wave quite often.

«Right at the moment there is no single record label which coincides with my musical taste and general conception, which I would like to see being embodied. Starting a new imprint with the fellow guys, I’m looking forward to the having the possibility of fulfilling myself as an A&R-manager and making the current musical world at least a little bit better.
