It will be difficult for Vintage & Morelli to surpass 2016, a year that included the release of his internationally acclaimed debut artist album, "My Rose Enchanted Destiny," as well as various Above & Beyond-supported singles. Yet, as the Belgrade-based sensation prepares to embark on various global tour dates, including a mini-tour of Australia, he thrillingly presents "Awaken," his first new single of 2017 and his most recent collaboration with celebrated singer-songwriter Arielle Maren. Not surprisingly, the track once again demonstrates V&M and Arielle's breathtaking musical chemistry.

Vintage & Morelli wastes no time in asserting his many gifts: in the early going, a deep, emotive, almost "exotic" soundscape sits behind an infectious groove. (The dynamic beat would elicit involuntarily head-bobbing from the most rhythmically rigid listener.) At the quarter turn, following a series of teaser vocal stabs, Arielle's heartfelt opening verse enters the mix. Her gift for writing intelligent and introspective lyrics is once again on display, not to mention her achingly beautiful vocal delivery. The deep, mysterious mood of the song's patient and introductory build eventually gives way to an anthemic chorus, led by Arielle's interrogative refrain, "Who Will Save The Day?" Vintage & Morelli responds by unleashing melodic fury, courtesy of a euphoric, stadium-rocking drop.

The first is 'Distant Memories', a glorious pure progressive production that contains those mouth watering melody laden chords and tender kicks that highlight the soft yet stunning emotions compiled in this track. It is not lacking in those signature sounds from both producers either which work superably to compliment each other's style and the end product is proof of that.

Another awe inspiring EP that is comprised up of some of the most talented names and it isn't difficult to hear or see why that is. We hope that something in this varied and colorful EP caught you in daze due to its mesmerizing selection like it did for us.

It is our sincerest pleasure to feature rising talents Asioto (Japan) and Southern Tier (USA) on our beloved imprint. These two sensational artists mold their craft and passion into a pair of inspirational cuts, which explore tranquil and luminous melodic motifs. 

The ebullient “Far in the Distance” is a testament of Southern Tier’s melodic prowess. A fine arrangement of chord progressions, mixed with elements of vibraphone and piano plucks, swirls of floating melodies, and poignant basslines will awaken the Summer within us all.

Empyreal “Taking Flight” spreads its wings and ascends majestic heights with an atmospheric soundscape, featuring soothing layers, ethereal pads, and waves of euphoric melodies that lift us off our feet. The sensual drum beat in the breakdown adds texture to the already gorgeous composition. Once you take off, you won’t want to come back down.

That is why the creation of a record label is a logical step for our career».

A friendship is one thing, but continuous development is vitally important. This is why the fellows decided not to take a break at the level of current achievements and grounded their own record label. «By the times someone discovers the points of coincidence with the colleagues not only in terms of business, but also creative sphere – that is always a positive experience! – Unification of musical efforts in frames of one label is our next and by no means unimportant step in creative self-fulfillment».

It is important to mention that the quad is not going to limit the newborn imprint’s catalog only with own productions. Intricate Records is also a promising platform for implementation of creative aspiration of other talented producers who feel themselves on the same wave quite often.

«Right at the moment there is no single record label which coincides with my musical taste and general conception, which I would like to see being embodied. Starting a new imprint with the fellow guys, I’m looking forward to the having the possibility of fulfilling myself as an A&R-manager and making the current musical world at least a little bit better. We are going to collaborate with our friends and associates from around the world. I certainly believe, if such projects are held with well-intentioned mood and built on relations of friendship, there are certain chances to make something special and terminative».
