The single "Stargaze" is a debut appearance for Sunn Jellie in Intricate Cuts, although the attentive followers of the label have already noticed the original version in the tracklist of Intricate Records' special compilation issued by the time of the label family's participation in the annual Amsterdam Dance Event music conference in late 2013. Besides that, quite a long time ago the Ukrainian producer did a remix of "Two Worlds" by Sergey Tkachev and also managed to get featured in the Christmas 2014 sampler of the Russian progressive label. This frenzied activity of course became noticed by the label audience and team, as a result a full-featured single by the artist will see the light of day on Intricate Cuts. The original production, "Stargaze", is a slow-motion dreamy audio-mantra which sends the listener to the far edges of the galaxy into an impressively long journey. The happy people were so glad to hear this track - they made a special fan-video consisting of sci-fi movies, automotive footage and magnificent images of the night sky shot using the timelapse technology. The remixes by the Dutch trio Envotion and Russian musician Cosmonaut are a slightly different story which is about more dancefloor-friendly sound and adjusted higher tempo. Every participant involved put a special touch on "Stargaze" through the prism of the own sound: Envotion have built a soft progressive track while Cosmonaut combined the main theme with a livelier techno beat.

Since the August 2017 release of "The Midnight Remixed," one of the most thrilling and spiritually rewarding endeavors in our label's history, Tim McEwan and Tyler Lyle, better known as The Midnight, have released a #1 Billboard Dance album ("Kids") and toured much of North America, Europe, and Australia. It is safe to say that the acclaimed discography and global popularity of the Los Angeles and Atlanta-based duo have both grown dramatically, since we at Silk Music last had the privilege of developing and releasing new remixes of their indelible tunes. Indeed, The Midnight is currently in the midst of another world tour, which will take them through the United States, Europe, and ultimately, Mexico, near the end of this year.

Flash forward to today, as we joyously announce the sequel, "The Midnight Remixed 02," featuring brand new remixes of more favorites by The Midnight, from "The Years" (off their debut EP, "Days Of Thunder") to "Lost Boy" (the first single from their most recent LP, "Kids"). This time around, we have recruited a cast of (almost) entirely fresh faces on remix detail, including legendary synthwave artist Timecop1983, indie-electronic phenom Uppermost, acclaimed retro-tinged act ERKKA, and deep-and-dark-progressive maestro Nox Vahn. Russian sensation PROFF, the only artist to appear on both 'Remixed' editions, offers a visionary take on "Kids" that brims with creativity, power, and musicality alike. Rounding out the extraordinary roster of remix artists, Silk Music veterans Claes Rosen, Dan Sieg, Kobana, Blood Groove & Kikis, Jayeson Andel, and A.M.R all deliver emotive and inspired renderings, ranging in style from introspective deep house cuts to cinematic-electronic power ballads. A friendship is one thing, but continuous development is vitally important. This is why the fellows decided not to take a break at the level of current achievements and grounded their own record label. «By the times someone discovers the points of coincidence with the colleagues not only in terms of business, but also creative sphere – that is always a positive experience! – Unification of musical efforts in frames of one label is our next and by no means unimportant step in creative self-fulfillment».

It is important to mention that the quad is not going to limit the newborn imprint’s catalog only with own productions. Intricate Records is also a promising platform for implementation of creative aspiration of other talented producers who feel themselves on the same wave quite often.

«Right at the moment there is no single record label which coincides with my musical taste and general conception, which I would like to see being embodied. Starting a new imprint with the fellow guys, I’m looking forward to the having the possibility of fulfilling myself as an A&R-manager and making the current musical world at least a little bit better.
