Exactly six month ago a new bright star named "Intricate Records" lit on the Russian electronic dance music horizon. The current catalog of this young and promising label counts about 10 releases which already gained attention and support of the international progressive scene's leaders. Top-level ratings in Beatport's charts, world's most important digital dance music distributor -- once again confirm Intricate's success. Never the less, Intricate Records founders do not chill out and enjoy their blistering achievements, the guys do not rest on their laurels but persistently continue the movement forward and ensure sustainable creative development. Yet another proof is the upcoming jubilee release dedicated to the first half-year period of the label's existence -- not just a single or a separate track, it's a complete package consisting of seven strong productions, many of which might be most likely called hymns of the outgoing summer 2012.Intricate Records Summer 2012 Sampler includes seven tracks representing various sides of contemporary progressive sound, from chilled evening tunes for home listening pleasure to exploding night time blockbusters which are able to make any sleeping dancefloor move. 

The forthcoming release will feature a collaborative production by London-based progressive house veterans Ad Brown and Ben Coda entitled "Rings of Saturn". Two talented newcomers, Justin Oh from South Korea and Nigel Good from Canada (he joined Intricate Records in March 2012 with the remix of "Twisted Monkey" he did for Alexey Sonar) present their newest works. A brand new interpretation of Russian's Feu d'Or hit single "Singapore" remixed by Stormy Sentosa is next to "Muse Collector", a track by Alexey Mazhaev aka Fon.Leman from  Russia, who's also a resident producer at Bomba Records. The final part of the tracklist belongs to Konstantin Astafyev aka V I F from the Ukraine -- he offered us two versions of his recently finished single "Play It When Sad", both original and dub edits were approved for the Intricate Records' August sampler.

«Intricate Records is something tangible and emerging from our long-term friendship and creative relations. – It is hard to imagine that someone will make an objection regarding many associable details and ideas of our creative work. The most significant part is that our preferences and tastes intricately but harmoniously amplify each other in most cases. All of us feel it. That is why the creation of a record label is a logical step for our career».

A friendship is one thing, but continuous development is vitally important. This is why the fellows decided not to take a break at the level of current achievements and grounded their own record label. «By the times someone discovers the points of coincidence with the colleagues not only in terms of business, but also creative sphere – that is always a positive experience! – Unification of musical efforts in frames of one label is our next and by no means unimportant step in creative self-fulfillment».

It is important to mention that the quad is not going to limit the newborn imprint’s catalog only with own productions. Intricate Records is also a promising platform for implementation of creative aspiration of other talented producers who feel themselves on the same wave quite often.

«Right at the moment there is no single record label which coincides with my musical taste and general conception, which I would like to see being embodied. Starting a new imprint with the fellow guys, I’m looking forward to the having the possibility of fulfilling myself as an A&R-manager and making the current musical world at least a little bit better. We are going to collaborate with our friends and associates from around the world. I certainly believe, if such projects are held with well-intentioned mood and built on relations of friendship, there are certain chances to make something special and terminative».
