Here's the first hour of my set played on the Sunday evening at 6pm at Springkell in Scotland. A beautiful small party curated and organised by Ario from https://soundcloud.com/astralindustries and soundcloud.com/o-utlier It was a magical few days with so much great music and friendly faces at every turn. 

I was feeling a little fragile when i stepped up to play after 2 days of indulgence but enjoyed warming things up. Already looking forward to next year! Thanks to Moy Santana for the recording and to all the Springkell crew : )

Author's note:

This mix has no big concept or plan. Just a bunch of tracks I liked from (mostly) the last couple of years brought together by mixing genres and tempos while trying to keep a certain spaced-out, dubby and somehow dystopic mood.  

Walden is a DJ and producer based in Barcelona. He's been a member of the Hivern Discs (@hivern_disc) team since the label's fundation. There, he has released two albums under the Mistakes Are Ok.

Next up on our Podcast Series is our dear friend Dan Thorman ~ notorious for his impeccable taste spanning across genres from ambient to deep techno and a keen explorer of all the curious terrains in between ✨

Apart from being a terrific music maker and DJ himself, Dan is also the mind behind And Not Or ~ an event series focusing on ambient and experimental music usually opening with a restorative class of drone-soundtracked yoga ~ at one the choicest Bristolian institution Strange Brew. On these occasions he invites some of the most exciting local artists to present their live performances and impeccably curated DJ sets to the audience cozily resting on rugs and fluffy piles of pillows. It is no surprise we got to know Dan in the midst of some of the finest local music events and that is where our friendship blossomed from 💌

The journey you are about to listen to is a a grainy snapshot from a breezy autumnal afternoon spent walking across vast expanses of those gentler landscapes of Dan's record collection that he regularly channels in his beautiful Early Doors radio shows on Noods Radio 💆🏼‍♀️

You will find this mix at times bubbling up and rolling through, and at times immensely calm and atmospheric. We know one thing for sure ~ this little slice of paradise just keeps getting better with each listen 🐚
