This winter, Monochrome is offering each month to one or several artists to discover their influences and inspirations through a forty-five minute to two hour recording. These three recordings will focus on percussive rhythms between Ambient, Deep Techno and Drum & Bass.

Artist biography :
With methodical contrasts, Stellah Maris animates magnetic tales. He plays rooted music through a surrealist prism, evoking sound rituals and lucid dreams.
As part of the Exocet collective, which he founded in 2018, Stellah Maris explores the depths and marine aesthetics in soundsystem culture and ambient music. He is also a member of the Nantes collective Öz as a resident DJ and sound technician, and takes part in the Lost Area project, a versatile platform offering visual works on a dub techno background.
Finally, he hosts Inconscient Collectif, a monthly broadcast on Radio DY10 dedicated to folk, traditional, spiritual and ritual music, as well as to the evolutions and experiments that have taken them across the ages and continents.

Atoloi is the project of Milan/Italy based Matteo Ghiringhelli and we are happy that he accepted invitation to our podcast series.

As a devotee of nature, Atoloi explores sound creating a mellow amalgam of layers using echoing synths, processed field recordings, and self-created samples; all mixed in a lysergic experience of heavy-grained noises and evocative instrumental compositions.
Not sticking only to canon club-oriented sonorities, instead, his productions and mixes search for other depths, in which the listener can get lost in a dense "no boundaries" journey for the body and the mind. 

Atoloi will be one of the performer at Transforma festival 2023, just in case if you would like to catch him around.

It’s been a hot minute since our latest Podcast Series offering and we can’t be happier to celebrate the first glimpses of Spring with this patiently blossoming and deliciously crafted mix by our dear friend, the London-based DJ and producer ~ Samson A.K ✨

A resident at the Introspective Electronics' affiliated Terra Obscura events, Sam hosted a number of regular shows on Balamii and Noods, spinning left-field flavours of techno, bass, ambient and everything in between and inviting intriguing guests to contribute their take on oddball electronica spanning a refreshing variety of moods and weights. Sam is closing the upcoming Terra Obscura at Ormside Projects on 20th May alongside Cousin, The Outsert (live) and our own Avsluta on warm-up duties.
