Madelyn Byrd aka Slowfoam is a Berlin-based artist working at the intersections of hydrofeminism and neuroaesthetics, an exploration into uncanny interactions between ecology and technology. They are a vital presence within the landscape of modern queer experimentation, utilizing complex digital processing techniques to dream up spellbinding microscopic worlds made up of synthetic sounds and field recordings 🪼

In a tone of their releases, Slowfoam delivers an hour of poised, seductive story-telling embedded in electro-acoustic experimentation and glistening textural ambient, building up into low-slung rhythmical momentum before wrapping up with a heart-warming conclusion 🩵
