Introspective Sense - Transitions

Soundman is an emerging producer and DJ based in the “Place of the Platypus” — Kuranda, Far North Queensland, Australia. With rhythmic roots that span continents, he is aligned with international labels Labareda Records (Brazil) and Adn Mutant World (Canada–Mexico), blending elements of Dark Minimal PsyTech, ProgTech, and Progressive PsyTrance.
Characterised by deep, hypnotic set progressions and tight, layered beat mixing, Soundman’s performances are immersive journeys — stylistically psychedelic, rhythmically intricate, and emotionally resonant. His music invites more than just listening — it opens a portal into self-reflection, where frequencies and grooves move the listener beyond their ordinary perception. 

From intimate bush gatherings to large-scale Australian music festivals, Soundman has shared stages with some of the scene’s most respected names. His ability to connect with diverse dancefloors has also earned him recognition on international platforms such as Grauton – Techno Podcast and Bangingtunes International Radio.
Each performance is a deep, interconnected dance floor experience, crafted to inspire growth and bring people together through sound. Soundman’s vision is to guide listeners on a transformative, shared journey — one that is not only heard, but intimately experienced.

Introspective Sense is a Dark Progressive project created by Pedro Zagar characterized by personal thoughts and experiences that seek dense and deep atmospheres, approaching dark elements from Techno and Psygressive.

Pedro had his first contact with electronic music in 2013, since then his passion has been formed by the desire to produce it for the target audience of the scene, recognizing cultures and passions that go beyond the existing sound.

Matheus Preto teve o primeiro contato com a música eletrônica no ano de 2009 frequentando festas e festivais de psytrance, a partir daí, resolveu aprofundar sua vivência musical iniciando um curso de mixagem no ano de 2011.

Atualmente faz parte do renomado casting de Djs da Origens Gathering e seu estilo musical é o Progressive, podendo transitar por linhas diurnas e noturnas dentro desta vertente.  Suas referências vêm de gravadoras como Zenon records, Weapon rec, TesseracTstudio, Digital Om, No Qualms, Ovnimoon Records, entre outras.

Seus sets são marcados por muita psicodelia, buscando um som dançante e introspectivo variando de 130 até 145 bpm’s. Sua principal característica é montar seu set escolhendo as músicas na hora, podendo assim, canalizar toda a energia transmitida pela pista.
