LOLA is the first cd released by the percussion duo formed by
Gabriele Lattuada and Lorenzo D’Erasmo. The cd title and the name
of the duo are the same, in order to highlight the mutual affinities.
The research on the sound materializes in the choice of the
instrumental setup: a table with little percussions, objects and a
variety of frame drums. Percussions, timber and sound point out sonic
environments drawing from classical experience and shared research
on less conventional materials.

The tracks evoke a sonic body that can be listened in its continuity,
or focusing on single sound events showing themselves in the overall
picture. The acoustic perception recalls the visual one, reminding
each time the image of an iridescent prism. In fact the musicians
want also to enlighten the sensorial suggestion that might derive
from the listening of the work. It’s no coincidence that the cd is
furnished by a series of fine linocut prints representing the visual
translation of the cd sonic development.

Intersezioni sprang in 2015 inside the electronic music classe 129 of the G. Verdi  Conservatoire of Milan. This reality gathers together a group of dj, I.T.s, musicians and performers. Exploring the different contemporary musical realities,including that of the club culture, the  rave scene and also the contemporary music scene, the will to learn from each of them rose. This lead to enhance every single “intersection” that daily occurs among these fascinating realities. Always maintaining a qualitative purpose and a critical eye.
