Revolution is Diplo's follow up to the meme-defining Express Yourself EP. Teaming up with an all new cast of friends including Mike Posner, RiFF RAFF, Travis Porter, Action Bronson and many more , Diplo has produced one of the most cutting edge dance EP's in recent memory. "Biggie Bounce" continues where "Express Yourself" left off, creating a new NOLA bounce anthem with Travis Porter, restating Diplo's claim to the king of twerk. Diplo aims for the clouds with "Revolution," allowing Kai's vocal delivery to soar above the stadium trap instrumental. "Crown" lets loose one of the hardest drops of Diplo's career only to have him pull it back in with Mike Posner's light hearted vocals. The EP is rounded out with "Rock Steady", an homage to old school hip hop featuring verses from Action Bronson, Mr MFN esquire and Mad Decent's own RiFF RAFF. Each track on the Revolution EP highlights a different aspect of Diplo's production style and displays why he's one of the most sought after producers in the world.

Quickie from us: "Chromeo is one of those groups that really define a genre and time in music. For us their take on electronic music really served as a foundation for our tastes in production. Dave1's effortless vocal work that always feel as cool as it sounds, paired with the incredible melodies and instrumentation from Gemayel these guys really crushed. So when we were contacted to remix Jealous we honestly felt like we had a song that we felt could be as big as Daft Punk's, Get Lucky . After it was said and done, we were so happy with the remix we created. It gave the song that house dance feel, but didn't feel forced at all. The song seemed to have this great level of space and pacing and nothing felt unnecessary. The more we produce the more its about doing more with less, and this for us nailed that theory. The song effortlessly flows like good Chromeo songs does but achieves that unique Chainsmoker energy...

‘Noxxebots Carnage’ is the latest release from electro artist and designer, Janski Beeeats. The Paris based manga and 80s video game fan (Jansé to his mum) has been quietly amassing a serious following for his 8 bit releases, bringing him to the attention of French alt house label, Police Records.

The music – well it’s a tough one to pigeonhole but then so is all the best music. A mixture of old school chip tunes, synthesized melodies and frenetic beats probably comes closest to a description but really you need to listen to it yourself to decide.

Jansé has been perfecting his sound for years – learning his craft on an 8 Bit Amiga computer (i.e. the hard way), the enigmatic masked producer has shared the stage with the fellow luminaries like Alex Gopher, Ebony Bones, DJ Missill and Naïve New Beaters. Janski Beeeats debut release, the sought after, ‘Game Planet’ via Un Je Ne Sais Quoi placed him firmly on club land’s radar.

‘Noxxebots Carnage’ is set in an imagined future, where the world’s been infected with a virus known as Bio Mud turning the population into raging, bloodthirsty monsters controlled by the evil corporation, LBM Noxxe. Jansé has created an interactive video game for this release, where you battle your way through various levels accompanied by a thumping electro driven soundtrack.

Showcasing a myriad of talent roped in to give this EP added punch, it features the remix efforts of Ed Banger favourite Krazy Baldhead, rising Belgium star Meridian, French disco house trio, WAEK and cult electro rock outfit, The Name. To round things off, Glitch-hop duo, MC2 lend their skills to ‘Dumbstep’.

Et si les uns tombent, tracez votre route, vous devriez en avoir pour 7 minutes et 28 secondes pour suivre 'Un Avenir Tout Tracé' au rythme de sons de jeux-vidéos arcades, de drums affolants doublés d’une mélodie à point qui vous aidera à abattre les infectés de 'Biomud'. Mais ne traînez pas et courez au Level 2, l’effet Wobble devrait vous servir d’antidote si nécessaire. Vous avez voulu jouer… ? N’abandonnez pas, il vous reste trois vies. 
Vibrez à l’effet du vocodeur lors du début de ‘Lament’ et tremblez aux boucles décoiffantes du synthétiseur, transcendées par des beats s’acharnant sur votre sort. Vous avez voulu jouer… ? N’abandonnez pas, il vous reste deux vies. 
Vous ne savez pas où se trouve l’entrée de Tower City, mais le chant lointain et la mélodie enrobante du morceau vous prêtent conseil selon la version de Krazy Balhead. Ou l’autre chemin, plus brutal de MC2 s’offre à vous. 
Level 4 alias ‘Diggin Cheesy’ risquerait de vous surprendre par sa légèreté au niveau vocals entraînants et à l’aspect un peu plus pop que les niveaux précédents. Les amateurs de scratching seront comblés, mais la transition avec la suite se remarque à la fin. 
La version 'Biomud' de 'Un Avenir Tout Tracé' fait son entrée. Dernière vie, dernière chance, derrière le Boss Final se dresse la muraille de Tower City, tout repose sur vous désormais. Gardez votre casque Beeeats pour amoindrir les dégâts, mais restez vigilant… Atteint par la Biomud, et votre espace vital verra sa fin… Vous avez voulu jouer… ? N’abandonnez pas, il vous reste une vie… 
Si vous n’êtes pas victime d’un Game Over, à l’intérieur de Tower City vous trouverez des remixes de vos confrères anti-Biomud. The Name & Meridian & We Are Electro Kids pour des remixes de ‘Un Avenir Tout Tracé’ sont le symbole d’une métamorphose en un habitant à La Noxxe : vous êtes purs, vous courez aussi vite que le tempo, vous savez impressioner, vous correspondez au profil humain autant que musical et vous êtes surtout le héros de Tower City. Le projet Janski Beeeats est porté depuis 2007 par le musicien et dessinateur Jansé. Sacré Découverte électro du Printemps de Bourges en 2010, cet originaire de Tours est non seulement le mastermind derrière l’univers visuel de Janski, mais également l’homme sous le masque. Janski Beeeats est un personnage de manga survolté, un electro hero, un amoureux des synthés et des jeux vidéos 80’s. Sur scène, armé tantôt d’une guitare, tantôt d’un synthé, il bidouille les sons, s’agite en tous sens, arborant un visage apocalyptique. Entre chiptunes, mélodies synthétisées et beats frénétiques, il transforme le dancefloor en une partie de Space Invaders.

En 2004, le marseillais Krazy Baldhead, aka Pierre-Antoine Grison, s’est fait une place de poulain au côté de Pedro Winter et de la Team Ed Banger. Il est le secret le mieux gardé de Ed Banger. Producteur et multi-instrumentaliste (Piano, guitare, basse, percussion etc..), Krazy Baldhead est un musicien complet aux influences très diverses allant de la soul/funk des années Motown à l’électro torturée de Squarepusher en passant par Joy Division, Miles Davis ou encore Jimi Hendrix. Il signe sur Ed Banger en 2004 et collabore avec de nombreux artistes : Outlines, Beat Assailant ou encore Aufgang.

Artist : Meridian / Paranoiak (MERIDIAN )

Meridian est un Dj et producteur Electro/House de 22 ans vivant en Belgique. Influencé par des maestros de la musique électronique comme Eric Prydz, Afrojack ou Deadmau5, Meridian produit une musique épique et mélodique. Après la sortie de son premier maxi, "Elsewhere" sur le label Paranoiak, et celle de son remix officiel pour Monarchy sur 100% Records, le jeune prodige s’apprête à dévoiler plusieurs morceaux qui s’annoncent mémorables.

Antoine, Etienne et Martin troublent par leur étonnant travail, faisant tomber doucement le rideau sur leur univers. Frappant à grands coups de synthétiseurs 80’s, de basses rondes et de solos dantesques pour Fancy, Digikid84, DiscoMirage ou Madeon, le trio s’est attiré en quelques mois les regards d’une concurrence intriguée. 
Un son intemporel assumé, électrique, et terriblement groovy. Les 3 compères dopés aux décibels made in France n’en sont qu’à leurs débuts et n’ont pas perdu de temps pour monter sur scène aux cotés d’artistes de renommée internationale, présentant un live/set percutant et envoûtant. À suivre.

Duo batterie et claviers analogiques, The Name s’impose par des prestations enflammées 100% live et électronique. Le groupe livre un cocktail explosif de sonorités club, Krautrock, néo disco, de voix féminines samplées en écho aux cowbells entétantes. Des lives habités, prêts à vous mettre à genoux, digne d’un clash entre Black strobe, Bot’ox et Curry & Coco. Après quelques collaborations remarquées avec Arnaud Rebotini, Museum, Léonard de Léonard, We are enfant terrible et la signature d'une partie de la B.O. de "Bref" pour Canal +, le groupe sort son 1er album "Numbers & Facts". Un opus dont on ne peut que vanter la qualité des invités ( Christine & The Queens, José Reis Fontao, Pop Clo, Richard Allen...) et noter l'émancipation musicale des codes de la French Touch 2.0.

Artist: MC2 / château bruyant ( mc2prod )

Glitch hop, dubstep, lazer bass, future funk, on ne sait trop où classer MC2, et c’est tant mieux. Parfait dosage d’efficacité et de subtilité, leur hip hop électronique gonflé aux hormones fait des ravages et vous donne immédiatement envie de quitter votre chaise en dansant. 
Rencontre d’un DJ producteur activiste de la scène bass music (DJ Ckel) et d’un musicien autant versé dans le P Funk que dans la musique accousmatique (Miosine), cette complémentarité leur permet de s’aventurer dans de multiples terrains sans y perdre leur âme.

Remarqué par une série de remixes sans faute (Missil, Nasser, Tambour Battant) et un premier maxi brillant sur IOT, en 2012 ils sortent un EP sur le label Château Bruyant. Mélodies nineties, clin d’oeil au passé et production actuelle leurs prod montre toute la force et l’étendue de la palette du groupe, enrichi d’une paire de remixes qui dépoussière des classiques des années 90.
