About DS Teo

DS Teo began DJing and dabbling with electronic music in the late 90’s.  He Experimented with vinyl, synthesiser and live instrument and vocal’s in his sets.  Over the following 15 years he developed his signature style which led to playing at some amazing parties/clubs and festivals in Australia. Wanting more from music than the scene in Australia could offer, and looking for a lifestyle change, after a trip to Europe, he decided to make a bold move and re-locate to Berlin. 

After a short time in Berlin being inspired by new kinds of techno that he had never experienced before, DS Teo begun his journey in producing techno.  The mission: to create a new and unique sound inspired by music he heard at the clubs and festivals in and Around Berlin.  This mission spanned just over 2 years, an endeavour searching for, learning and creating production techniques to deliver extreme bass orientated, hypnotic and psychedelic music.  

Ds Teo’s first EP was released on the Eclectic Limited Record label on the 10th of July 2017. This first EP already has support from numerous DJ's and electronic music authorities such as; Len Faki, Marcel Dettmann, DVS1, Dave Clarke, Marco Bailey, Faze Magazine, Kiss FM, MixMag (Germany).

Always looking to push the boundaries Ds Teo is creating new music consistently. His latest tracks focus on a technique he has developed which create a kick, bass line and synth line from a single synthesiser or Ableton sampler instrument within a single midi track only using a single voice. DS Teo is looking to make his mark on the techno world with something unique both in its sound and it’s production technique.
