The UK based artist Faery (@freyacaldwell) is the third one to record a wonderful mix for our Herbarium mix series.
She worked with a lot of watery psychedelic textures forming an intriguing hypnotic vibe. Proper grooves support the whole captivating feeling of this episode.
We chose the plant 'Cyclamen Hederifolium' - a flower which blooms around autumn. The petals of this plant have wave-like shapes that strongly remind us of the watery atmosphere in Faery's journey. It grows best at shaded places where the strong colours of the blossoms glow even stronger. This links the deep atmosphere in combination with those subtle but well crafted sound design details of this mix to the flower in a beautiful way.

The 8th anniversary is not the only milestone that Harmony as a label is celebrating this year. With some glimpses and announcements shared in the past months, we are thrilled to finally showcase the first preview of the forthcoming VA named X [HARMONY010]. A compilation dedicated to day-to-night music that characterizes the main margin of our label. 

The 36-minute-long seamless mix that follows was thoroughly crafted by Alfred Czital, and contains all the material that will be released on the upcoming compilation. The aim is to introduce the piece as a whole and highlight the symbiosis among the tracks. Every member of the Harmony Rec. family made their contribution with personal style and aesthetics. The artists featured on the VA are:

We have now reached the point in the year again where the change of seasons takes place. Winter has officially arrived in the northern hemisphere and some snow has already fallen. For this occasion we invited the labelhead of @midgar_records known as @severja to interpret this transition musically. Besides refreshing sound design and stirring rhythms that wonderfully reflect the autumn sonically, he has also used timbres that make you warm around the heart in the cold season. _A few memories from Simone Bauer about our festival La Vallée Électrique 2022:

"The warmth of the sun on my skin, the sound of music that blends with the sound of the surrounding environment, the surrounding smiles.

I had the pleasure of playing at this beautiful festival, located in a valley with a stream running through it and surrounded by trees.

Three days of complete immersion in nature and music, where I played live for the first time with this musical project, for me, it was a great emotion to propose my music live in this way, it is certainly a moment that I will always remember with joy.

For me, it was also the opportunity to meet many artists and friends for the first time after years of contacts only via internet and to meet many new ones.

I can't wait to come back for the next edition, but this time to dance."
