The most symphonic of the songs I have made for Forsaken Altar so far with heavy Dimmu Borgir and Septicflesh influences.

Been working on this song since as far back as 2020. I thought it would fit the Forsaken Altar project perfectly. I was dreading having to re-record the vocals for this song as the version I made back in 2023 was by far my most extreme I've ever done, bordering on stuff you may hear in some Deathcore. I toned the vocals down a bit for this re-recording so they would be performable live and to fit in with the rest of the vocals on the Forsaken Altar project. This may be disappointing to some if they go back and hear the old version, but this was done for the sake of long-term vocal health. Although I will say the long screaming sections are integral and iconic to the song so I have decided to keep them. I will struggle to play this song live because of those sections unless I make the controversial decision to keep them as part of the backing tracks for any potential live shows.

The lyrics are about a dream I had during the worst time in my life mentally, and I think that anger and frustration are reflected in the agony conveyed during the two screaming sections.
