After the sentimental success of his debut "La Fragua," Mexican producer Rodman returns with the "Falcata EP," featuring six new productions for Ineffable.

The record's title comes from the name of an ancient sword, which is quite apt as the sharp sound-design & impressive perc work slices through the EP from start to finish. It fluctuates between moods, touching on the deeper, dubbed out & echoed sounds of Rodman's palette, and moving swiftly into complex rhythmic patterns that were definitely built with the club in mind.

To coincide with the release of @blomfeltmusic debut album on Istanbul-based record label @oathy, today we present the premiere of standout track 'Apathy'. Mastered by Rafael Anton Irisarri (aka The Sight Below), Blomfelt's inaugural full length traverses ambient house, breakbeat and glitched out electronica, sitting somewhere between the lines of contemporaries including Rising Sun, DJ Healer plus a smidgen of AFX.

The holographic swarm that is Downstairs People returns with their latest collection of subconscious songwriting.

Simply titled ‘DSP’, Downstairs People’s sophomore album expands on their surreal horoscope of Top 40 musings, with nine works that explore the altered states of pop.

DSP reimagines the FM radio spectrum with distorted hooks, sour candy production and cascading vocal harmonies with no lyrics. Sung to us in an unknown language, it’s an archive of warped transmissions from beyond our solar system, conveniently recorded and presented as a flat, spinning monolith.

A brief history of having no time, and an ode to the subversive power of pop music.

Following up the release of their inaugural label compilation last November, Reasons To Dance mark their return with their first ever extended player from label co-founder Dåser...Today, we focus on the opening track 'Into Blu Sky‘. Kicking off with a digital mantra of eerie arpeggios, followed by semi-distorted drum rhythms, FX-drenched echoes and highly-syncopated vocals, the track captures the uncanny nuances of the Neoperreo genre, sweeping over global dancefloors lately from the likes of Bitter Babe and Amor Satyr.

Now The Biting Makes Sense

On Escape from the Club, @alecpace makes his return to All Centre, following up his Absolute Pressure EP from 2019 with four wonky, breakneck techno cuts.

Opener Linea kicks off proceedings with a buoyant approach to electro. Encouraging shouts of “come on” are filtered through disorienting FX, usher in sliding synth lines. As the track progresses, the frenzied synths increase in intensity before giving way to a skeletal drum beat.

On the second track Drowning, throbbing kick drums pair with skizzed-out hi-hats. The track’s wonky, rolling groove builds up towards a propelling synthetic percussion onslaught with unique sound design to boot.

The title track increases the intensity with skewed acidic pronouncements leading into a lolloping 168bpm beat, embellished with Pace’s characteristic vocal sample disfigurations.

Finally the EP settles on its most frenetic excursion, False Claims. Hiking the BPM up to 148, high velocity drums which nod to UK Funky guide the listener towards ecstatic fervor that is hinted at throughout the proceeding tracks.

Through the Mist

It's been a while since we decided to open and launch this new project, we were just waiting for the right moment, and maybe we waited too long. or maybe not. we were a little stucked by the indecision of when to put it out, how to contextualize, and all the usual "psychological" practices that one faces before starting a new journey. but ever since we received the masters of this wonderful concentrate of different minds, we have been looking forward to smashing it out. and whether it's the real right time or not, it's now finally here! the true meaning behind this capsule is not so definable in words, perhaps because it is an attempt to look back and forth at the same time, without getting lost in a one concrete definition. but when we got to the tracks, first individually, and then together, it came spontaneous to glimpse something new and unconventional as a whole. we are therefore proud to present another of our musical journeys, this time in certainly more experimental and odd territories. the sounds you hear can definitely be taken as the true manifesto of this new chapter.
