DRUM002 | Kyiv artists on Albert van Abbe's DRUM label.

Van Abbe performed his NONDUAL Live A/V at the newly opened concert hall of Club ∄ 'K41' back in October 2020. NONDUAL was presented as an exhibition & series of live concerts. They featured a string of talented artists from Kyiv, some of them residents of Club ∄. DRUM002 (digital + limited tapes) features a set of ambient / experimental techno tunes by Nastya Vogan, Burning Woman, Gael & Zauber, Zavoloka and ϙue. They function perfectly during early (or late) hours in the club, or enjoy them during your soothing headphone commutes. The NONDUAL album is out now on Raster.

It’s been more than a week since Russia has invaded Ukraine, destroying Ukrainian cities and shattering the lives of millions of people, whose world will never be the same again. The Ukrainian music and culture community is devastated by the shocking crimes of the Russian government. We wish for peace in our country above all, and we are doing everything in our power to support the people of Ukraine. 

Right now It is most critical to raise funds for the Ukrainians bravely defending their country, and for those, who had to leave their homes behind. Therefore, Standard Deviation has joined forces with @Mystictrax — a Ukrainian label run by Lostlojic, for our most important release: РАЗОМ ЗА УКРАЇНУ / TOGETHER FOR UKRAINE — a compilation by 65 Ukrainian and International artists to be sold exclusively via Bandcamp. All profits from this release will be split between the following charity funds, supporting the people of Ukraine:

- The ‘Return Alive’ Fund, helping at the Ukrainian front  
- National Bank of Ukraine Fundraising Account for Humanitarian Assistance 
- ‘Ukraine Pride’ Fund for LGBTQIA+ soldiers and LGBTQIA+ people affected by the war
- ‘Голос Дітей’ Fund, helping children affected by the war

We would like to express special gratitude to all the artists who got involved, mastering engineers who helped supporting the project, Poly Chain and Omon Breaker, who co-curated the release while being in the midst of war, Wolfgang Tillmans for providing the artwork, Julia Crescitelli for her video art, Ivan Tsanko for providing the typography, Modern Matters for helping with the release.

система | system is proud to present a compilation of various Ukrainian artists and performers "SESTRO".
"SESTRO" is a compilation of electronic music from the Odesa-based label система | system, designed to bring together musicians from Ukraine who have been released on our label and performed at events we have organized. For many years we strive to cover a wide, diverse, and adventurous spectrum of Ukrainian music. The goal of the compilation is to directly financially support (ГО Сфера) Sphere (@womenspheresolidarity) which is a Kharkiv-based organization that actively helps women and LGBT+ people from eastern Ukraine in territories that are heavily affected by war. CS Sphere (ГО Сфера) supplies crisis kits for women in frontline areas and also provides financial assistance to vulnerable groups of women, organizes legal and medical consultations, provides psychological assistance, informational campaigns, and activist events.

"We have never had an experience of working with women in conditions of stress, shock, and grief like today. Now we are trying to gather our experience and the experience of our colleagues from other countries to help deal with the terrible consequences of the survivors" - Anna Sharygina, a representative of CS Sphere (ГО Сфера).

We believe that giving visibility to Ukrainian culture is an important part of our struggle, because Russia's war against Ukraine is imperialistic in nature, and for three centuries the works of Ukrainian authors have been denied and destroyed.
We will never agree to be dominated. We want, as artists, to give all possible support through our work to the brave volunteers now active in Ukraine, who are bravely fighting to save the most vulnerable.

"SESTRO" - це компіляція електронної музики від одеського лейбла system | system, яка покликана об'єднати музикантів_ок з України, що випускалися на нашому лейблі та виступали на організованих нами заходах. Протягом багатьох років ми прагнемо висвітлювати широкий, різноманітний та авантюрний спектр української музики. Мета компіляції — надати пряму матеріальну підтримку організації Сфера (@womenspheresolidarity) з Харкова, що наразі активно допомагає жінкам та ЛГБТ+ людям зі Сходу України на територіях, які сильно страждають від війни. ГО Сфера постачає кризові комплекти для жінок у прифронтових районах, а також надає фінансову допомогу вразливим групам жінок, організовує юридичні та медичні консультацій, надає психологічну допомогу, проводить інформаційні кампанії, активістські заходи.

Ми вважаємо, що надання видимості українській культури є важливою частиною нашої боротьби, адже війна Росії проти України, має імперіалістичний характер і протягом трьох століть твори українських авторів_ок заперечували і знищували. Ми боремося проти Росії, що прагне нас колонізувати, ми боремося за нашу свободу, ми ніколи не погодимося, щоб над нами панували.Ми хочемо, як художниці_ки, своєю роботою надати всю можливу підтримку хоробрим волонтеркам, які діють зараз в Україні, які відважно борються за порятунок найуразливіших груп населення.

French record label re.core are set to unveil their seventh release, 'TIME', a collaborative album from production duo Comechelet x ϙue...Our pick  'Rendez-vous' ensnares listeners from the start, uncovering layers of dense, storm-driven drones, intricately woven with a polyphony of dark ambient textures, gradually drawing the listener into a disorienting soundscape. There’s an organic fluidity to the track, as if the sounds are living entities - morphing and shifting whilst maintaining a subtle palpable tension. It inhabits a liminal space, creating a mesmerising ebb and flow between realms, lost in a sea of ubiquity.
