For his second compilation to explore the darker side of club music, Next Wave Acid Punx DEUX, Luca Venezia, aka Curses, has dug deep into his very black book to secure exclusive tracks from some of the biggest and most exciting names on today's EBM/dark disco scene such as Industrial Hope by EVA, a brand new project from Berlin legend Boys Noize. Aptly named, Industrial Hope is an urgent assault of distorted synth arpeggios, bitcrushed kick drums and distressed snares destined to pummel its way out of club speakers and electrify the writhing mass of bodies on the dancefloor.

Friends since the PULP years, Jennifer Cardini and David Shaw have joined forces for a phenomenal project which will bring the dance floor walls crumbling down!
Their first encounter was at the Pulp, 10 years ago, where they spent the entire night (well almost) talking about their mutual taste for bands like Joy Division, the Smiths, Etienne Daho , Stinky Toys...to create their bonds which took a decade to actually emerge . It was the fantastic documentary “Paris is Burning”, which introduces the Voguing scene in New York in the 80’s, which inspired “In The Ballroom” and “Pepper Labeija”, the first fruit of their collaboration.

Here is the second premiere of the week : after their "Glory Of Romance" LP out on Other Voices Records in 2013, new wave band Nouvelle Phénomène from Budapest is about to unleash a new EP on long time fav and unstoppable label Bordello A Parigi. It features a remix of the title track by Vanzetti & Sacco​ and one of B side "Au Fond De Mon Coeur" by Rotterdam's Machinegewehr, the latter being exclusively brought to you by LYO! Solid club beat, great synths and epic melodies, French vocals and laser noises, what's not to like? "Cruel Game" will be out on Bordello A Parigi early October.
