The second release for Atomic Alert sees False Persona delivering his hard-hitting, explosive electro sound. Although a fresh face, the 21 year old Bournemouth-based producer has been self taught music production and DJing since the age of 13, and after spending years learning how to make different styles of music under a multitude of aliases, his sound as an artist definitely serves as a hybrid of genres.

On the title track Unknown Variable, he combines extra-terrestrial mutating synths and ghostlike pads with an insanely infectious bass line. Similarly, Hive Mind is a deep space club roller constantly buzzing its way through your mind.

The introduction of Brighter Days and By My Side is False Persona's own form of alchemy; reconstructing his usual element of club-ready electro with an expansive sonic landscape of subsonic pressure waves and euphoric pads layered with other-worldly vocal samples and magical glitchy percussion. A nuclear remix of Brighter Days cooked up by Dexorcist, one of the most prominent icons of electro and a dreamy rework of By My Side, Atomic Alert's Nite Fleit presses the button on this diverse weapon of an EP.

Ukrainian DJ, producer and cyberpunk RAAVEL debuts on DJ MELL G’s imprint, JUICY GANG RECORDS. Enter INSECT REPLICANT, a 4-track, broken-beat-meets-electro EP that conveys RAAVEL’s crunchy vibe to a tee. 

‘AYAYAY’ blends a distorted vocal with a nasty synthline and 2-step kickdrums, creating a futuristic sound that only RAAVEL knows how to pen. An EBM-flavoured snythline dominates on ‘BLATZER’ while zappy sound FX cut through the atmosphere—a dirty jam made for a basement rave situation. The title tune ‘INSECT REPLICANT’ is a proper banger. At 144 BPM, an acid bassline, snappy percussion, and staccato synth notes evoke tension, but it still maintains a club-driven feel. The closing tune ‘WAKALAKA’ merges electronica and electro, as a raw drum pattern punctuates each bar and provokes anarchistic energy. One for the die-hard punks of this world.  

Following releases on LAP and mystictrax, INSECT REPLICANT marks another upward step in RAAVEL’s trajectory, with his anomalous sound reflecting the always-evolving aesthetic of JUICY GANG RECORDS.

Another masterpiece is on the way of Suburban Avenue path. Zippo and Kaelan, with their supreme alias 3KZ, deliver a 4 tracks Ep, which perfectly explains their musical background and knowledge. 
"Existance, Resistance" exactly represents the creed of people who are behind the label. A1 "Existance, Resistance" and A2 "Cyber Ninja" are two Drexciya indebted electro banger tunes, pure fire, ready for each kind of dancefloor. 
B1 Liquid Spirits, is a perfectly executed Acid Electro trip. B2 What's your Number?, is something special: a Dreamy, Retro-Futuristic electronic journey, with letfield Detroit vibes.
