Welcome to the Armamentarium! 

We hope you enjoy your stay in our arcology complex today. My name is Mr. Hautins and I am your HumanMaschine 5th gen guide. Stay close to me at all times because the Armamentarium is one giant maze, and we don’t want to send out search drones this early on in the day now, don’t you agree?

Follow me now down the Hall of History. As we approach security and registration, we like to remind our guests of the sacrifices that our brothers and sisters have made before us. As as first time visitor, we require all guests to remain in the Hall of History for at the minimum of 30 minutes while our HumanMaschine helpers assist you with your luggage and belongings. A short but mandatory multiple choice test of 20 questions will be assigned for completion as well, with a 60% as the passing grade and entry requirement. The test will be on human history, with a focus on Earthian conflicts and struggles.

Is that a frown or a pang of hesitation I see? Don’t worry. Just follow the arrows on the ground through the Hall of History and take a gander at all holographic placards and you’ll be fine. My favourite exhibit is the diorama of the prototype Grav-Tank the Earthian Expeditionary Force captured from during the Martian Wars! As you walk through our halls, please also take the time to fill out this registration e-doc and make sure your wireless-net augments are switch off. The Armamentarium considers the facility a wireless-free zone with strict rules on personal privacy.

As we look to our left, you will notice the F-X Aqulia 6.5th gen. fighter jet. This was the original jet that sparked the Pacific War of 2025, when an errant pilot mistook a fishing boat for a naval AA drone platform while near the 9-Dash line and launched his drone package. The drones decimated the fishing boat, and then malfunctioned, and made a beeline for the four multinational fleets that were in the area of operations. The resulting exchange of fire from autonomous point defense systems and counter drone packages triggered a cascade failure.  All four fleets were slowly sunk during the course of day, with over 6,000 casualties. The plane however survived and continued to operate for over 1000 sorties before being retired.

On your right, you will notice a vintage T-15 main battle walker (MBW) on a backdrop of the ruins of old Moscow from the Constitutional Crisis of 2027. Take a closer look at the damage and spalling on the front glacis plate. This was the walker that spearheaded the assault on the fortifications of the presidential palace controlled by the loyalist forces in the city. This action would rally the vox populi soldiers in the immediate vicinity who were under siege and close to being cut off; it would spread to the local partisans who would joined the fight later as well. This T-15 MBW was painstakingly restored after its discovery and identification in the fire-blasted and irradiated ruins of the palace in old Moscow.

Destiny

Trevino is Marcus Intalex. He is widely known for making underground drum and bass. In 2011 he started the Trevino alias to feed his desire to get back to his roots and rekindle his 4 to the floor spirit. He was originally a house and techno dj learning his trade in the late eighties/early nineties. He was a regular hacienda punter, a huge fan of the belleville 3 and a keen late night reveller travelling throughout the UK to clubs and raves way before drum and bass even thought of. He worked his way up in the 90’s via working in records shops, djing in clubs and radio, promoting events and producing some significant dnb 12’s. From the end of the 90’s marcus has been in high demand flying around the world peddling his love for deep drum and bass. He still does this but he now also splits his dj calendar with his other alias Trevino and his love for all things 4/4. Well most things, certainly not gabba or hard house or gospel house or scouse house or anything too happy or too cheesy or too slow or too fast or too hard or too soft….sorry i digress.. 

Marcus’s other major passion is golf. He plays regulary, or he did before he moved to Germany, now he doesn’t play at all but that’s another story. The alias Trevino is named after Lee Trevino, his favourite golfer when he was growing up. Birdie, well you can guess the obvious golf reference there. There are also track titles of some his previous release that bare the names from the golfing glossary. For him it's just a bit of self indulgence. He doesn’t take himself at all seriously and certainly ain't lead by image, fashion or changes in demand and music styles. He likes it pure. 

So this all leads us to his current project. Entitled “Front”, this double ep/ album project has obvious golf connotations. The project will come in two parts with “Back” to follow sometime within the next 12 months. Both will contain 9 tracks in the same way a golf course has 18 holes split into two halves Front & Back. 

Marcus is keen to point out that the music has nothing to do with golf whatsoever, its just an idea he thought was a good challenge and keeps the golf thing rolling. 

So here they are, 9 tracks, aimed squarely at the floor. Nothing too arsey or technical or intellectual, just 8 solid dancefloor cuts plus one short beatless thing to help make them all fit onto the vinyl..
