The Brvtalist is pleased to premiere a new track from Skelesys. Ombra International returns with a killer V.A, featuring 6 excellent tracks from Birds, Jorkes & Nikkname, Skelesys, Silicodisco & Alvaro Cabana, Ducati Flux and NAUFRAGI, presenting a fresh take on sounds influenced by new beat, dark wave, post-punk and new wave. We premiere today “The Scorpion Sting", an immersive dark wave bomb incorporating Skelesys’ enigmatic vocals and guitar. This is another stellar release from the label and we look forward to more.

Straight out of Medellín, Colombia with a three track EP, we welcome Osccurate to Club Mackan! Relatively new to the scene, Osccurate left his 140 bpm Techno to embark on a more melodic journey. With Dansé Gótica you’ll find something that sounds familiar, yet fresh and new with the touch of his signature guitar sound. On this journey you’ll get to explore uncharted territory, something that we still don’t have a name for. 

To accompany us on this journey, we have three remixers. Two familiar faces, Dog.ma and Mundo D as well as a new face in the shape of Bizzarro Universe. These three remixers will help steer the course to perhaps somewhat more charted territory. Or in this case, dare I say timelines?

Dog.ma brings a synthier version to Dansé Gótica, setting the course to what seems to be the 80s. 

With Allnight, Mundo D seems to have set the course more towards the future. Somehow still with one foot firmly in the 80s in a very retro futuristic fashion. 

Bizzarro Universe course is a bit different though. Say hello to the late 90s early 00s. Cuarto Oscuro gets a very trancey makeover and we love it! 

Whether you’re into the unknown or more familiar territory, we assure you that you’ll enjoy the journey ahead!

Bragolin is a Post-punk / Dark Wave band from Utrecht, The Netherlands. The band is lead by singer/guitarist Edwin van der Velde of Zwarte Poëzie. The music contains a mixture of bariton and shoegaze guitars, organ, synths and drummachines. Their first album and music videos will be released on Young & Cold Records in spring/summer 2018.

Into Those Woods

She awoke panicked, eyes dilated and hot beads of sweat streaming down her face. She'd had the same dream every night that week. Or perhaps it was a nightmare, she couldn't decide... Each time only fragments were memorable, a collage of broken thoughts and feelings. She'd been trying to piece them together to find out what this puzzle meant. It could mean nothing, but at the same time it could mean everything. In the realm of dreams anything was possible. 

Tel Aviv producer and musician Omri Smadar pays tribute to his home of Israel on Fragile, his new EP for Jennifer Cardini's Correspondant. In addition to two original tracks, opener 'In The Realm Of' brings the 80s dark wave classic from Siam into the present day, injecting it with dynamic synth lines for a captivating reappraisal.
